Stayed with W Living at their 117 Spring Garden st location for 13 months. I enjoyed my time there and have no complaints. Management and building maintenance were very kind and always responsive when needed. Loved the parking garage. I only moved out because my roommate made other plans.

New apartment didn’t have necessary appliances installed until months into lease and hallways always smelled weird. 3 stars.

Been living here for a few months at their Broad St building. First few months was a NIGHTMARE...no appliances but an oven -_- when I first moved in. No communications about internet (Verizon is the only option). They rushed everyone to move in and didn’t have the elevator working. After I get my appliances, they will rush you to renew your lease after 3 months or they’ll start showing your apartment. Still haven’t fixed the mailbox downstairs so everyone’s mail is up for grabs (no key required). About a month ago, I was cleaning the bottom of my sink and noticed my floor was unfinished from their construction days. Westley says it’s not a priority but watch, he’ll probably take it out of my security deposit for “damages” and such. Walls and flooring is thin as paper. Do not lease here.

I am currently renting an apartment from W Living and it is single handedly the worst experience of my life. My apartment has had more mice than I can count on my two hands, evening during the spring season. Once I caught 9 mice in one week. I keep my apartment extremely tidy and clean but it is still a major issue. For the combined rent between me and my other two roommates, paying $1,845 is definitely not acceptable when we have had to call pest control numerous times. Needless to say, I will never be renting from them again.

I would give this management company 0 stars if I could. All of the recent reviews are completely accurate of the business they provide and I could not agree more.Negligent and poor professionalism. Preying on students and taking advantage of tenants by not providing what is promised on the lease. One of the worse experiences I’ve ever had dealing with a leasing office. Wesley, Maria, and anyone else involved with this office need to be investigated and fired.Still waiting on applicants that were promised. They probably have not even been ordered (3 months and pending without the microwave I should have).

Ive leased 4 apartments in Philly and W Living has been the worst experience Ive had from a move-in/move-out/security deposit perspective. When we moved into our unit, it was never professionally cleaned and we were told to coordinate with the previous tenant to obtain the keys and confirm no significant damage to the property. W Living never entered between tenants to change the locks, inspect, or clean the property. When we moved out, we lost most of our security deposit for painting and cleaning fees even though we left our unit in comparable condition as when we moved in (but how would they know that??). I guess W Living is just subjective when they decide to perform BASIC responsibilities as a rental agency.Theyre very unresponsive to basic maintenance requests (even pre-pandemic). Our N Marshall St. unit constantly had plumbing issues in the bathroom that would take them weeks to come in and fix. When they did finally show up it was never at the time they originally stated.Renter beware, the units look okay but be prepared for headaches when you need to interact with them.

I could not agree more with the recent reviews about the poor communication and lack of professionalism from the management company. My son and his roommates are still waiting on appliances after 1 month of living in his unit and the company has offered no accommodations. Simply inconveniencing tenants who are mostly young college/graduate students. It is ridiculous. Provide these people what they are paying for or at least offer some form of reimbursement! No washer and dryer, no microwave, no refrigerator. These are not conditions anyone would want to live in for $1000/month.

As a parent of an undergrad and graduate student, leasing through WLiving has been a NIGHTMARE. This company lacks professionalism in the leasing office, is not transparent, makes false promises, and does not care how they inconvenience their tenants. My daughter moved into an incomplete apartment that did not have basic appliances for living such as a REFRIGERATOR AND MICROWAVE. You would think that if these appliances are not available, they would accommodate tenants. They did not!!Wesley and Maria are the two people who do most of the (bare minimum) communicating. If you work with them, be aware (as others have stated in previous reviews) that once they have your deposit, they do not care how they inconvenience you. STAY AWAY!

Beware Before Leasing ! This entire leasing arrangement with them has been a nightmare from beginning to end . Recently I leased one of their new Temple Locations that was “under construction 🚧 “ and the realtor promised and assured to me and my roommate that the place would definitely be ready on time “August 1st” . The leasing agent assured if for some reason it was not ready August 1st then at latest it would only be a couple days late . And we would receive the entire month of August month for free and be placed in one of their other furnished locations until it was ready . So we agreed to move in. After the place was NOT READY AUGUST 1st they completely backed down on all of their promises and reassurances. They said the place will not be ready until August 15th and we would have to accommodate our own living arrangements. The only issue is I moved out of my previous apartment August 1st and I had funiture delivery all scheduled for the beginning of August . So I had to purchase a storage facility out of pocket at the last minute and scramble to every funiture delivery place to get them to redirect my funiture . After staying in a hotel everyday out of pocket . The same leasing agent has informed us the move in date was DELAYED again and this time she lied via email saying the building was completely finished and blamed it on PECO . I know she lied because I drove down to the construction sight and did not see any progress and a completely unfinished building. I told their company this inconvenience has caused my friends and I a grave inconvenience ;however , my emails have not been being returned . The leasing agent even took my email off the update email list even though I’m a paying tenant. We still have no concrete move in day and school is about to start . I have to pay for another month of a storage facility . Please BEWARE before leasing with this company because once they have your money they DO NOT CARE WHAT INCONVENIENCE THEY CAUSE YOU .

Been here since they opened. The apartments are first class with high end appliances, a lot of space and garage parking (extra). The insulation is so good that we had the heat on only 3 times last winter. Management is great and responds quickly to your needs. Building staff is friendly and helpful. We enjoy living here, close to the bars and restaurants on 2nd Street. Check it out!
