Wonderful experience here at Wah Shing! Great customer service, food, and drinks. The boneless spare ribs are delicious and I advise everyone to come here for a great takeout experience and very economical eat in buffet experience. Really nice servers and I have been coming here for 6 years. Love the great array of options at the buffet and cleanliness. Always look forward to coming here for lunch, dinner, and even late breakfast!
I eat at this restaurant at least once a week and I must say many of these reviews seem to be fabricated for reasons unknown. I have never witnessed any of the instances being listed here. The food is fresh, the restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly, and never have I seen any insects crawling about. I encourage anyone reading this to give them a chance and not be swayed by those seeking to discredit a respectable business and welcoming staff. They serve classic Chinese American dishes for the best price around. As one of the regulars I stand by Wah Shing and vouch for the pride they take in their business.
This place gets you coming and going. Not only do you have to order $30.00 worth of food before theyll even deliver, but they also charge you another $2.00 if you use your debit or credit card. Wont ever order from them again.

I used to go to another place in town until I found out that this place delivers. I had to get used to the food because these two restaurants have very different styles of cooking. I got used to it quick and fell in love with the delivery service. they always come within a half our or so. The food is always hot and good....recently my wife and daughter and I have been doing the buffet on Friday nights.....the food is always good and if I ever saw something that might have looked old, I mention it to them and they get fresh right away!!! One day we walked in and it was dead...the lady who is always there said if we something we need more of to let her know and she would get it......I like it but I will say that sometimes if there is no business some of the items look dry, but they always get fresh if they see me looking and pass it by.....VERY CLEAN PLACE!!! No ambiance but good food all the same.
Do not go rude customer service. Kept hanging up on me when I kept trying to get my order total and how long it would be. The lady was so rude. I will never go back. Such awful customer service. And their food is over priced and not that good.
We eat here about once a week. The buffet price is extremely reasonable. The food is always fresh and hot. You wont find a lot of extras like crab legs or hibachi here. They also offer buffet take out for the same price as dine in which is around $7.
Buffet food is super cold not served at the right tempeture for sure. Is very cheap if your on a budget but you get what you pay for!! I also have seen roaches crawling around here as well as have had a flea jump on me here as well!! Dont recommend going here dont even know how they stay in business!!
It was less then 2 hours to closing. They were cleaning up in back. Better to see again at a peak hour. The food was good. I got a small portion, but they put it on a tiny platter which it was falling off of as I ate. Kind of messy. That is my only criticism. No matter whether a person gets a big or small portion it should be put on a standard dinner size plate. We will go back because we both like Chinese food occasionally.
Great if youre a local looking for a bite to satisfy that Chinese craving. Price isnt bad. Food in the buffet is cold on occasion. Once time the house special chicken was undercooked and when I brought it up I was told I was wrong. Essentially, a lot of food for cheap and decent selection. Dont eat here if pregnant or with a compromised immune system. If youre looking for quality, go to Panda Garden up the road.
Always a good experience. The people are so nice here. Buffet looks great! I plan to check that out soon. I really think their food has become more flavorful over the years. Garlic chicken tastes like GARLIC !!
Good buffet, but we usually get take out (about once a week) for the good stuff. Great Mai Fun! I also really enjoy their wonton soup and triple delight. I only wish Id been there before it became a buffet.
It is a nice, quick location for buffet. However, they dont have a huge selection or replace food quickly. Beware that they charge kids price for babies and adults price for kids. They base it on the size of the child. I stopped taking my grandson when they charged me $5.00 for a 1 1/2 year old and full price for my 7 year old niece because they are big.
Pay attention to the more recent reviews on here, as they underwent a remodel and reopened in late 2013. It is very nice on the inside and clean. You can sort of see into the kitchen from the buffet area, and from what you can see it looks like it is kept sanitary and clean as well. The Restaurant is predominantly a buffet now, and is very well priced. We went a little later in the night, and even though they were close to closing, the staff was very kind and offered to make us anything that was running low on the buffet. MUCH improved from before the remodel. I have not gotten take out or delivery from them yet, so I cannot comment on the quality and speed of those services.
Very nice people. Good food at the buffet. Also like the variety for take out. Gave four stars only because the buffet could use some variety. Too many chicken dishes and it doesnt change. A rotation would help.

I just ordered over 30 dollars worth of food. The shrimp toast was burnt so bad I could not even idenify it. I ordered boneless ribs. I got a serving of burnt fat. Nothing looked like any kind of meat. I called to complain and I get yelled at by i guess the owner that they would replace the shrimp toast. I was told the reason that it was burnt was because they get it frozen and the inside does not cook unless they burn the outside.They said that the ribs were, meat and i said , I cant even chew it they told me they do not do refunds,......................HORRIBLE PEOPLE and food and they charge you $2.00 for placing an order on top of the actual order....WOW nasty people, that charge you extra and their food is bad
We ordered shrimp in lobster sauce combo got shrimp soup with peas and carrots and only 3 shrimp costly only to get 3 regular size shrimp not jumbo not even large also a ton of rice and very little meat in combos .. won ton soup is poorly made ..but I will say they have very good garlic sauce and lo mein . Not very happy with the last two times we have had placed orders but they offer delivery which is very convenient other Chinese restaurants would kill it over here if they delivered

Having dinner, I witness a disabled customer stating the shrimp tastedbad. It was spoiled, for I too had mussels that had a foul odor andput plate aside! No food poisoning onmy agenda.Four customers walked out but paid $cash and told lady at desk problem. She refused to give receipt but took the cash and told them why they did not finish the food by yelling at the disabled adult.Time to call the health department! I did after I witnessed the verbal abuse of cashier why they did not eat the food left on their plate...place only had 2 tables at 4pm...no wonder!I got up too and told her to taste the mussels, for they smelled spoiled. She took the plate with 5 mussels pretending she did not understand english.Nasty food, nasty service go together!

This was my go to place for buffet food, but lately the quality is a little less, unless you order take out and its done fresh. Some items are sitting till dinner time if you get there between lunch and dinner, and not much difference in offerings for dinner.
Love this Chinese buffet. Good food and they also have American type food like fries and onion rings. Never have had a bad experience there. The young man who works the front is sooooo nice and helpful. Great customer service.
Very disappointed. Half of the food trays were empty and the other half were pretty unpalatable. Super quiet, no music playing so all you could hear were other people chewing. All the BBQ stuff was dry as a desert and tough. Save yourself the money and go somewhere else.
Took over an hour for my food to be delivered. I decided to try again since there are new owners but it is still terrible. Rice tastes burnt. Egg roll is soggy. Boneless spareribs are all fat and chewy. Crab rangoons are undercooked and pasty. The only part that didnt disgust me would be the chicken and broccoli because it had no taste.
Heard about it after getting a flyer in the mail. Very basic buffet, but had good food and was cheap in price. House special chicken was awesome, which had a little kick to it spice wise. Staff were friendly and attentive.
$40 unfortunately had to toss everything but dumplings. Never again, ribs were burnt so was main course we tossed order in garbage
Decent food- albeit yesterdays leftovers at times-- but a horrible atmosphere. On more than one occasion, the young Asian chef came out from the kitchen and sat down in the dining hall. He proceeded to play loud Asian music on his iPhone, disrupting the dining atmosphere because my friend and I could no longer have a conversation due to the loud music. When I went over to him to ask him to please turn the music down, he smiled and refused to lower the volume of his music. This happened on two occasions . When I went over to the cashier to complain about the loud music, she proceeded to act as if she couldnt speak English and simply smiled at me and nodded her head. Yet, she did nothing in terms if getting the cook to turn down his music. What was the cook doing in the dining hall playing loud music in the first place? At that place, the customer is irrelevant. The cook gets to hang out and do whatever he wants and management has no problem with his rudeness.
Some of the worst customer service I ever had. The woman screamed at me on the phone and actually hung up on me when I had a question about my order. Also, when you go to pick the food up the only one who is actually polite is the young guy. Everyone else treats you like your beneath them. If you want greasy Chinese, there are plenty other options right around town.
Dollar for dollar its a terrific value... Their buffet is very inexpensive and consistently good. The place is clean and the staff is very polite, exceedingly helpful and always smiling. Its a great place for a quick and delicious meal.

Pretty good food, really enjoyed the selection of fruit they had to offer... Ice cream okay.. waitress wasnt very attentive to any of her customers unfortunately but other than that it was a good visit.

Good food and affordable. Bring my family and we always have fun. The service is a hit or miss depending on whos working. Dispite the service being a little boring everything else is great.

Which there was stars for negativity. Went here one time and the food was awful. What a waste of my money. That was the one only time that Ive been there, I learned. There are other Chinese places in the area that I would recommend Panda Garden China Wok.
All the employees are stuck up except the guy, they never came back and asked if we needed more drink. Food wise I got the runs after about 3 hrs. Tasted good though. Not planning on coming back here anytime soon

Never eat there, the food wasnt even fit for my dog. They reserve the right to impose a food waste charge for food you dont eat because you cant eat it, its their policy. My policy is if you have that policy then you can shove it up where the sun doesnt shine.

2021-10-20My family and I move to the area a year ago and happy when we found a Chinese place we like to eat. But , tonight I really wanted chicken and broccoli and all I got was a Tupperware of sauce with a little bit of chicken. I always get it with very little broccoli and extra chicken. I don’t get it! when I called to inform them of the problem they brushed it off as nothing was wrong. We will not be ordering from there any time soon.

2022-04-04My sister took me here we order out . The place it very pretty & even the bathroom. But there food they need to work on it . I order Spare ribs with pork fries And the ribs were burn & beside that it didnt have no taste what so ever . So it just a pretty place me !!

2022-02-04I driven past Wah Shing many times. I decided to stop in and give it a shot for a lunch snack. I ordered the fried dumplings, thats my test dish to see if they make good Chinese entrees. If you cant make dumplings, you cant make good kung pao chicken. They also had a buffet open at the same time.The dumplings tasted like they had been sitting out at the buffet or they were pre-cooked and reheated as opposed to being freshly fried. The dumplings were thin, which I prefer and they were a nice size. I didnt care for the taste.Staff was pleasant and service was fast. Maybe Ill try the buffet next time.

2018-05-05Excellent value for what you get. Very low price for very high quality food. Do not let the low price throw you for a loop it is very good food. I even saw happy family at the buffet. Theres a meal you never see at a normal Chinese buffet. It has the usual Staples of a typical Chinese restaurant buffet style. The bathroom was super clean the staff was average friendly. I did walk past the kitchen and hear somebody hockaloogie however. Ill definitely be back

2022-05-17I spend $25 there today may 16th and the rice was burned chicken winds tasted like they been sitting already fried for a long time and i had food poisoning if u want to get sick this is ur go to place i vomited all the food after 20min my stomach felt like it was going to blow

2021-08-22Avoid avoid avoidOrdered delivery. Said 45 minutes and took an hour and a half. Food was cold. Egg rolls were soggy and dripping with oil. Boneless ribs tasted like chicken, and were 100% not pork. Orange flavored beef tasted like it had cleaner and fouled beef in it, and smelt like a dirty armpit. I usually try n find a bright side. Spent 35 bucks and tossed it all and made Ramen. Even the sweet and sour chicken was soggy and oil dripped from it. Nothing positive. Cold, undercooked, foul tasting food that was delivered 45 minutes later than it was told to me is a big disappointment. Avoid. Do not order from here. Take the drive and pick up from any other place in the slate belt. They are all better than this. Disgusted and disgusting.Avoid avoid avoid

2021-09-04My husband and I have given Wah Shing a few tries, but we will stick with Panda Garden down the road from now on. Delivery times are fine, no issue with that. However, no matter what chicken dish I order, the chicken is always very poor quality. I ordered walnut chicken and there was minimal chicken, it was just breading with sauce on top. My husband couldnt even tolerate it, it was kinda gross. The broccoli was ice cold. Whenever I order the chicken and broccoli, the chicken quality is also very poor; very stringy and questionable. I think the only thing Ive tried that was okay was the lo mein.

2021-06-19Good food, great selection, awesome price. We visited late on evening and ordered off the menu. The good was flavorful and fresh. Came back for a second time to try the buffet. We werent disappointed.
