Called on a Sunday morning to see if they could get a couple of stripped lug nuts off (the site and the store offer Lug Nut Replacement service) and was told that they didnt have any lug nuts, but could take the other ones off. So I stopped at an ORileys, picked up a couple new lug nuts and headed over to Walmart to have them take the old ones off and put the new ones on. When I got there they said that they didnt do that (again, posted online and on the service board), and the employees back there didnt even know that was a service offered. They said they couldnt do it because they could be held reliable if they broke something....I ended up going to NTB and the technician had both lug nuts off and the new ones on in less than ten minutes AND didnt charge me anything. He used an impact gun and a size smaller socket.......which apparently Walmart couldnt have done.Its gets better. While were driving around trying to find a place that could take the lug nuts off my wife and I were on the phone with Walmart customer care, got transferred to the store manager, who proceeded to hang up on my wife once she started telling her what happened. We called back later to talk to the supervisor of the auto area and were told that they dont carry specialty lug nuts (we drive a Chevy SUV with a pretty standard lug nut size...) and that they would have no way to charge us for the service (yet again online and on the service board is listed Lug Nut Replacement - $2.00). So apparently they are offering a service they dont know they have, cant fulfill, and cant charge for.
Shortly after getting an oil change here my engine seized up. Not realizing how this could of happened at the time because of getting caught up in trying to find a ride for work and finding a new engine for my car, but to realize I fell victim to one of their careless employees not putting the proper amount of oil in, if any at all! Please check your oil after getting it changed here, you do not want that $3000.00 mistake to happen to you. I should of pursued it against them when I realized where it all orginated but it was already mood point.
Been paying to get rid of tires here for awhile. Was turned away today because we loose money taking tires. Sounds like they need to start charging more or the guy just didnt want to go out in the cold.
Never again. The kid fixed the wrong tire then... drove in another vehicle to try to switch out a battery and then somehow accomplished to mess up changing a battery. Had to wait 2 hours just to finally get the right tire fixed. Pathetic
Walked in talk to a gentleman about a tire I needed for my car he showed me a couple different kinds an makes was helpful ...with in short time had new tire on the car an was out the door an on the road nice group of people there....
Ordered the tires on line, arrived on time, installed on time. No complaints. This is the 4th set of tires from this store. No problems.

Worst customer service, I waited on the phone for 10 mins just trying to get a hold of anyone in the store and I waited another 15 mins trying to talk to an associate in the tire center and I had to get a manager to get a hold of one, and I asked if they were busy and they said no.. then why did it take so long to pick up?
I don’t understand why they wouldn’t fix my civil war cannon, it has wheels. Other then that they are great
The Walmart auto care center in Chippewa is hands-down my favorite one. While I live in New Castle I tend to go to Chippewa for my car care when possible.
They can’t even answer the phone correctly can you imagine the alignment I got
Quick, courteous and $20 less than the competitor. Plus you can do a little shopping while you wait.
Even though they didn’t have what I needed for tires, the gentleman who answered was very helpful and friendly. Thank you kind sir. ❤️

2022-05-24Didnt want to do an oil change and then told my bf we had a visible oil leak which wasnt true. We took it to the dealership we bought the car from and got one done no oil leak.

2019-08-19I had a great first-time experience here. I purchased a set of four new 20 Goodyear Wrangler tires at a great price ($113 each). I asked them if they could install them with new TPMS sensors ($29 each). They set up a convenient appointment for me, installed the tires, configured the new sensors, everything in under an hour while I shopped. I saved more than $300 compared to four similar tires & installation (not the sensors) at Costco.

2021-12-06Wouldnt guarantee the warranty on the battery that I purchase there even though the 5-year warranty I was only in three years. They tried to say it was my starter then after I proved them wrong they said I bought the wrong battery which was an acid base battery. So after talking to several GM dealerships mechanics which said the acid-base battery was fine. Never going to purchase anything from their automotive department ever again after the way I was treated wasted half my day arguing with these people.

2022-01-22Went to have two front tires changed and dude seriously told me they couldnt do it for me because they were closing for good after the weekend. He said I could buy the tires but they couldnt change them. Seriously 😳 very disappointed. Went to someone in beaver instead

2020-10-09David is the one that is typically there to check you in. Weve been coming here for YEARS with all of our cars. David is the most rude person Ive ever seen in there. Every time I see he is the one checking people in, it makes me want to go somewhere else. My experience with him this morning is the sole cause of this review. He is rude, and does not offer ANY suggestions, only insults. He insulted my intelligence because I said I was NOT SURE which of the rear tires is leaking, becuase the mechanic that did the inspection was communicating to my grandmother (because its HER car) and she forgot which of the rear tires he told her needs re-sealed. I asked if they could CHECK to see which one is low, and re-seal that one. He said no, theyd do both since I dont know. The mechanic that came for the keys was VERY helpful, and said if they cant tell which tire is leaking, they wont do anything, and I can just come back when I notice one is low. The mechanics (or tire people - whatever they are called) here are very good, and polite.

2021-11-13They put tires on the work van in under an hour. But they also messed up my Chevy’s wheels a couple years ago. Put the wheel weights where I tell you, jabroni.

2019-10-26Tried to get oil change but attendant told me they wouldn’t be able to start for over an hour ... they wasn’t any cars in the oil change line but she said they had 3 “TIRE” changes in front of me. Why do they have a bay designated for just oil changes if they can’t get you in & out.Lots of other QUICK oil change business near here .... This isn’t the 1st time this Auto Care hasn’t managed their resources, employees & customers well ..... they have lost my business for good.

2020-10-02I get to Walmart at 8:00am and drive to the back of the building where the tire and lube center is. A worker comes out and meets me and asks what I need. I tell him that I need 2 tires installed. He tells me to drive back around the front entrance and walk thru the store to get back to the tire center and they would squeeze me in. After I do all of this and walk back to the tire center another employee tells me that they can’t do my tires without an appointment! Why make me go thru all the hassle of driving around front and walking thru the store when the first employee could have easily just told me that I need an appointment. Very unprofessional workers and wouldn’t take a go kart to have worked on at Walmart. They lost my business which they always had. F- - - -. Very rude and poor customer service. They all need fired or given etiquette courses!!!
