Don’t add an AT&T phone to your plan here at this Walmart. I needed a phone for a few months while my mother-in-law is in a nursing home for rehab. Explained that to them they suggested I add a line to my AT&T plan. I asked how much several times and he kept answering with, it will only be how much it is to add a line to your account. I felt as though he couldn’t tell me the AT&T charge from his computer. After an hour and a half I left the store with a Sim card in my phone, but my 86 year old mother-in-law couldn’t use it so I went to the AT&T corporate store in cranberry Township to purchase a flip phone. I find out that the added line is going to be $60 a month instead of $20 a month because of how he added it. He gave her four gigs of data even though I continually said to him that she did not use any Internet and only needed to talk would never even text. After I got the changes made with AT&T I found the paperwork that he had given me when I left the store which I had never looked at, on it it said it would be $60 a month and that there had been a $30 activation fee. Neither of those did he tell me even though I asked several times while I was in his store. Sorry to give the Walmart a bad review I think their store is fine just don’t buy a phone there.
Walmart groceries delivered the wrong groceries today. When I received the wrong order I called the corporate line whom then got the site on the call to figure out what happened and the solution. I was told keep or donate the food I received and I will receive a full refund (except the tip). I then received a call from an employee at the site that told me I would have to pay for the order anyway or let the driver come back to both homes to then redeliver them to the correct houses. I would not agree to accepting my order that has been sitting at someone elses home for over 3 hours. I told this individual what walmart corporate told me and he told me that wasnt the case and I could speak with a manager. I spoke to walmart corporate again confirming my refund, called the site back and the guy then said the manager confirmed to keep the order and call corporate for a refund. When I told him thank you he hung up on me. This was your mess , not mine. Ridiculous to be treated that way over your mixup.
Still using covid as an excuse for not having product on the shelves basics crackers vegetables, Is milk Kramers bacon lunch meat really WalmartNot just this visit for the last several months unsalted saltine Crackers Your own brand you havent had in your shells for 5,6 months. Thanks for wasting my trip and my time
They never have enough registers open this time of year. Tons of people shopping and most of the workers are rude no matter how nice you are to them. I am always nice to everyone because I know how some customers can be, but the workers are still rude and mean. I always give good reviews on workers so I feel awful saying this but its TRUE.
I really like this Walmart, as it seems to be just a cut above most other Walmarts that I have visited. The store is very clean and well-stocked, which I cannot say about all other locations. Generally, if other stores are out of what I am looking for, this one usually has it. Kudos to the management and staff--keep up the good work.
When you go into the store and need to use the power shopper cause you cant walk the whole store they never have any and there is one in front of the store and a man is just sitting on it withIt plugged in holding it for his wife she is in the store shopping with another one so if it is running low he can give that one to her which shouldnt be allowed.So I been starting online shopping and they always leave 2 or more items out and sometimes I let it go but today I was missing more items so I called and told the manger what happened he said they was out of the items I said why was I changed I asked if he could replace with something in that price he said no its so sad .what ever happened to make the customer happy they dont know how to .i am very unhappy with how things get handled
I cant stand the online employees throughout the store. There are so many anymore and they clog up the aisle. Some stop dead center of the aisle. There should be a separate warehouse for online shopping or all online shopping should be done at night to avoid the clog.
The only thing I can complain about is how busy it always is and how I greatly miss midnight shopping. The greaters at the door are always polite and friendly and anyone Ive had to deal with were as well. Even tho its always busy we still tend to get in and out fairly quick.
Me and my wife like this Walmart because they have lot of electric carts since I am handicapped! Recently though carts are very scarce and if you are lucky to get one it dies half way through shopping! Since my last visit they have upgraded the carts to newer models and stay charged until you are done shopping! Thanks alot for this welcome change! Also I want to address people that are not handicapped and are using these carts(SHAME ON YOU)! This is a slap in the face for all of us who truly need these carts!!!---LARS!!
Stopped in to buy a carton of smokes....Gave the lady my drivers license for ID. She tried repeatedly to scan it and it kept failing (as it has done since the day I got it). Regardless...she told me she could not sell me the smokes (did I mention I am 68 and look it). Went down to Giant Eagle next and paid them $90 for a carton of smokes...after-which I said to the clerk... Thank you for taking my money...thats more than Walmart will do. Only in America does common sense loose to smart technology.
So far not bad at all. First time there and they were super nice. We purchased two outdoor swing and the gentleman were very nice who brought it to the car. The lady was very nice to call them back so we can pay for it and keep there till we got done shopping. Really nice.
I waited at bay 6 pick up for a little over an hour to only find out that my item was sold out. After it had been bought and paid for online. I had to call in a total of 6 times before one of the runners was able to track down a manager. I was there long enough to see how hard these runners work and how they keep their cool under pressure and bad weather conditions. You Rock! And deserve 10 stars, but the software system let us all down by not being able to physically secure the item the instant the online purchase was made. Corporate said my item must have been picked for someone elses order. Thats 74 minutes of my life Ill never get back. But to be honest, those runners work hard and that was good to witness.
Went in for an oil change. Should have been out in 20mins, no one was in front of me. Got the txt that it was done. However, one very difficult customer inTLE held up the only worker they had on the inside for almost 30mins. They have 3 registers there but only one person to service customers. This is not the 1st time Ive personally experienced this. The phone rings and rings, because the cashier is unable to escape customers, when it is answered youre on hold until you hang up. So 20 mins for an oil change and 30mins to check out.
Im not a big fan of Walmart. I never been in this before. It was late and i only needed a drill bit. Got in there it was dead and they had what I needed and i got out. Of course i park on the non food side because what i needed was on that side and as all walmarts do they close all the registers on that side so i had to walk the whole side. I hate that they do that but whatever. Im sure i will be back when i absolutely have to.
My fiance and I ordered for delivery and each time either some of what was ordered never came or they never showed up and wasnt ever notified that the delivery person canceled. Issues I find VERY easy to fix and also a call to inform people that the delivery person cant make it or anything of the sort should be grounds to call the customer!!! DOOR DASH is more reliable then Walmart. easy problems even easier solutions. Step it up Walmart!!! You have more money then countries for godsake whats the excuse for this thing and I thought customers was always top priority?
Very upset I use self checkout so that I can social distance and workers that may be sick or exposed to covid 19 dont have to handle my stuff I also use mask even though I have been fully vaccinated Iand now they want to check your receipt and touch your stuff at door i for one dont appreciate that I have no idea and neither does workers know if they been exposed
Checkout people WAY too inconsistent. Had to wait over 15 minutes in line while our checkout person tried to play big shot. She was half way through checking the person in front of me out when she abandoned her register to try to help someone 3 lines down to no avail. Then the person who was supposed to be in charge started shouting at her from 2 lines down. My wife finally asked them to stop yelling back and forth since nothing was getting done. They couldnt hear one another so the conversation was useless. This is the first time since covid-19 started that I got angry with a walmart checkout person. I know the job is hard so stop making it harder on yourself. Do your own job. Theres supposed to be a person in charge to help employees when they cant do their job. Its not working. Get the managers back in the stores. Im ready to leave walmart altogether and shop Amazon and costco. They know how to treat their customers.
This Walmart is a Supercenter, so it has a grocery store, salon, vision center, photo center, pharmacy, and other businesses. I stopped by this Walmart to quickly pick up snacks and beverages. When I first entered the store, two employees greeted me. I found what products I wanted, and I used the self-checkout to pay.
The tire and lube department leaves a lot to be desired. Their customer service is terrible. I felt like I was inconveniencing them. Also the tire warranty they provide doesnt protect you like it says. I bought a tire that was bad from the beginning and they still charged me $28 pro rated for a new tire.
Wasn’t thrilled in going into Walmart’s ....waited forever in Electronics. Wanted to buy some Pro SDXC Cards but with one guy that’s busy and I know it’sa gonna take longer than one hour because of short staff, common for most of the stores! Sadly I decided I’ll go elsewhere or buy off of someone else online! Now I know why I don’t go there often!
This was my first visit here since the COVID thing....I’m used to visiting at off hours before COVID, but that opportunity doesn’t exist any longer. There’s only one entrance open and people are Everywhere! Too many people for me, families hanging out and being social. It’s like it’s a social encounter, that’s not what I want when I’m doing my shopping. The shelves are Empty. I will not bother to visit this location again. Felt like my personal space was invaded and also not worth coming into this store. Most of the items that I wanted to buy were not available.
Its okay. I know its a very busy place, but I think stuff should not be setting around. Stocking carts are in the way. Boxes in the way. Very unorganized!Lady came out from the bakery with packaged bread, dropped a couple packages on the DIRTY floor, just picked them up and stuffed in the bin. Those should have been taken back and repackaged!! Use common sense people!!I think it may be awhile before I shop at this Walmart!
What happened to your car air fresheners? The sign in the aisle says air fresheners but all i saw were headlamps... looked all through the automotive section. Also, while in the candy aisle, i was looking for York Peppermint Patties...i was surrounded by 3 employees restocking the aisle... well... taking their time restocking the aisle as they joked back n forth... not one employee asked if I needed help or even bothered to acknowledge my presence. In fact, when entering the aisle, i had to get out of their way... even said excuse me, but no acknowledgement whatsoever... this is low even for Walmart standards... maybe if they treated their employees better, theyd perform better... really wish another big box store could run Walmart out of town!
Very clean n tidy inside n out. Well stocked. Very good variety. Like the choices of doing my own shopping n checking out. Or having cashier check out my purchases. Or going on line n ordering n someone else shops for me. Then I can pick up in parking lot or have delivered to my home. Emploees helpful n knowledgeable about items in their departments. Found out they even special order large quanties of items, given enough warning. Customer service was very helpful. Money center was efficient n amazing at all they do. Even sell lottery tickets at machines now.
The Chippewa Walmart have changed everything around for their local customers. It seems more like a giant snow globe that someone shook up then a organized store.It goes to show that Walmart has so much money, they ripped up the white tiles that were in good shape and now just have bare concrete.If it is not broke, dont fix it.
Jason the super associate.It is not a normal experience when a Walmart associate not only answers your question, but also helps you retrieve a product that was hard to reach, and then checks on when the next shipment is expected. Young Jason did all that and more. He asked my name, and thanked me for shopping. All that while I interrupted him while he was busy stocking shelves! Now, that is Customer Service.
It would be nice if we werent being stalked by employees that just happened to be every where we were.. even at the self checkout, the same woman just happened to be right there acting like she was doing something. Sad, other people ruin it for us paying folks. Meanwhile the people they should be watching are getting away with stealing.
The amount of customers allowed to walk around inside this location without masks is absolutely terrifying. There is a state wide MANDATE that requires everyone to wear masks in public. No one cares about that at this location. I felt extremely unsafe here. Management needs to step it up and actually do something to protect people.
Lots of stuff out of stock a lot and seems like you get followed around the store by LP. No, I do not steal or associate myself with people who are thieves to give them a reason to follow us around. Also the deli closes early a lot which sucks but they usually have pre-cut stuff out in a little cooler which is nice I guess.
When working or Walmart delivering groceries Walmart only allows one delivery at a time It is a waste of time and gas plus all the extra wear and tear on your vehicle. There is no reason why Walmart should not allow you to take at least two deliveries at a time as long as the deliveries are within a 10 mile radius of each delivery
This store is crowded for Covid-19, they can further limit how many people can come in. They need to enforce all customers to wear a mask and one person or family per isle, if they have medical condition where they cant wear a mask then they should be forced to rely on curbside pick and and delivery, and expand curbside pickup and delivery. Self checkouts are good because Im further away from people that way. Its a high priority to protect customers who are still susceptible to catching the coronavirus by forcongevery customer wear a mask and be 6+ feet away from other customers or deny them service. If they have a medical condition where they cant wear a mask then they need to rely on curbside pick up or delivery.
Wal-Mart is easy to shop. Affordable prices. Great costumer service. Overall the atmosphere is decent, but not the best. Cleanliness could be considered as I usually find dust on the floor. Products range from high quality to low quality and bad produce can be found. Needs more art supplies and books. Large electronic section.
Im just want to say that Suzy at the tire department really needs to be recognized as a employee she went above and beyond my expectations as a customer she listened to my needs she helped me in every way she could. She really and truly cares about her customers and I wish there was more people in this world like her!! Thank you so much for everything suzy!!!!!!
They are pushing more of automated check out . Id not like that at all plus the clothing for larger guys is poor quality. Being 64 shirts are short even 2x and getting help with something when you need it. .. good luck if I could change my rating to a one star I would
I believe they need either better supervision within the Auto and Tire center, or more efficient, trustworthy and reliable employees. I have went there in 2 separate occasions now for an oil change and both times I left with little to no oil in my car. Also, I just noticed one of my friends post about this on Facebook and they had the same issue as well. Do better. Supervise your employees more thoroughly. Give your customers what they pay for.
This Walmart IS THE BEST!!!! I have shopped at a lot of Walmarts and a few that I would never go back to, but this one rocks!! Not once have I been here when a worker wasnt friendly and helpful. I even made the effort to tell a manager how nice it is to shop here. Its a pleasant experience which I can NOT say about most Walmarts. Whatever they are doing, they are doing it right!!
Had a mixup in the grocery pickup on 2/2/19. Cannot rave enough about how personable and professional Mgr. Ray (?) was. He moved quickly to offer generous compensation, personally came out to apologize, and never tried to blame his staff or anyone else. He simply said your service was unacceptable today, let me make this right.Good Customer Service is not what happens when everything goes right. Good CS - and management - is how we react to errors and mistakes.Ray deserves kudos for his handling of errors. We really appreciated it!
I was able to find everything i was looking for. I bought groceries and other items as well. The main problem their is that they have so so many cash registers but less than a 1/3 are open. They have started a self check out but that is eliminating jobs and confusing. Wal Mart cares more about their bottom line than their customers.
When an employee says they will hold a cart of items for you and you come back in less than a half hour and everything is GONE. Not to mention a rare set of flowers you specifically spent time picking out is now not even found anywhere in the store....hmmm did the customer service desk accidentally buy it for themselves. Totally irritated. What is the point of offering a hold service if you dont follow through? Terrible Terrible Terrible Customer Service. Just get a whole new crew there...this isnt the first time theyve disappointed. You def. shouldnt call it customer service...
I went to get a tire and in the meantime shopped for paint. In the paint department we first encountered a rude vendor who was behind the counter who couldnt help us. Then we waited about 10 min for someone to show. We got a guy not familiar with the department who tried to help only to have the color dispenser fail. Finally the guy who worked in that dept shows up but couldnt help because the paint mix dispenser didnt work... It was a disaster. This Walmart is always the worst. However Automotive and the Customer Service Dept were awesome.
I go here only if I dont have time to travel down road to Ohio. I find alot of staff not too friendly. I never go to a cashier there. Self check out Id one thing I swore Id never use but at this place its all I use because at least its friendly in a mechanical way. Sad but true.
This is a car service department review.Do you want your car with dirty hand prints all over your pale car leather? Do you want your old tires thrown in your car without bags? Do you want to be told to wait 2 hours for service eventhough you made the point of taking an appointment? Do you like being served with an attitude? Then this place is for you.Dont go to the car service side of this Walmart.
Generally Im not terribly fond of this Wal-Mart. It gets the job done when you need quick things, especially since its really the only big store in the are beyond Giant Eagle and K-Mart, but Ive never impressed by the store. The employees are generally barely responsive to your presence, and the store itself verges on the dirty side of things. Their produce section is generally lacking or full of bruised fruits and vegetables, which makes grocery shopping an unpleasant experience. At least theres a Subway in here where you can grab a quick bite to eat, and the store generally isnt too busy.
Walmart is as Walmart does, nothing extraordinary about this one. It is cleaner than most others in the area. Selection is good. It is a larger store as far as Walmarts go.Pharmacy is solid, their staff seems helpful.Not as high marks for the night shift crew. Some of the overnight floor buffers and stockers are jerks. I know they have a job to do, but I shop when I can... its not like its hard for them to put an automatic floor buffer in neutral for a few seconds. Giving me dirty looks, cmon, really?
If this is the one in Center, the store is dirty most of the time. Their produce department is horrible. A bag of a few small avocados $5.00 and they are hard as rocks. A bunch of green onions are the tiniest I have seen. The last few months I havent found any decent produce there. They dont keep up on restocking the shelves. One month they have an item and the next it has disappeared completely
All you would expect from a Walmart. I will say though that the lines here arent as bad as some Walmarts and they have a pretty decent selection of outdoor/camping/fishing/hunting stuff. Probably because if the location (quite rural). The grocery selection and mens clothing in particular are very limited and much less extensive than other locations.Otherwise, about status quo for a Walmart.
As 90 percent of the timeless than one quarter of the checkouts were operating. It takes longer to check out than to shop. We cannot buy ice cream, popsicles and similar items because of how long it takes to check out they would thaw before getting them in the car let along driving it home.
I find it very unnerving to buy groceries and clothing and everything under-the-sun in one store. How do you put a raw chicken in your cart and stroll around shopping for underwear and such? Im sorry but thats just gross. I cant do this but my 80 year old mom has no problem with it so I humor her.
For the third time seince Christmas shopping started in 2013 I attempted to buy a camera at the Chipewa Walmart. For the third time most of the camera were out of stock. Those that were on display could not be powered because they could not find the cords, batteries and other accessories. They offered to order a camera for me. Why waste time going to the store (to try one and see and feel how it works) if they are just going to order it. I can do that at home easier and faster. I of course got the standard answer from Walmart employees - I just work here. The dept manager did stop by. But none of them can do anything anyway. It takes Corporate and if corporate fins out - the local employees are in BIG trouble. Witnessed that a few years ago.Not sure why I frustrate myself by passing through those doors, but they are the only local alternative for some things. Need to retrain myself to drive a little further - save time and money
Do not trust to auto department manager. Went in for an oil change and to check my tire pressure. The car was pulled in after 45 minutes and then sat there for over an hour. Then after sitting there it was pulled up for the oil change. Because it sat there so long it triggered an audit. Now it needed a manager to release the car. They called for the manager with no response. Waited anouther 15 minutes I had to ask them to call again. 10 more minutes no response. I asked them if there was another way to get the manager and they said no. So ok Ill go see if I can find them for you. Found him and he gave no reason or apologize. He released the car and drove it out. Parked the car then drove it over to the tire side and never got out. Moved the car back to park it and I got the keys for it. I them got into the car and started it and found the low tire light was on. They never checked the tires. I turned the car off and walked over to the manager showing him the receipt where it said the tire pressure was checked to 32 psi. The car is supposed to be at 34 psi. He said they checked it. I told him that I watched my car from the time it was brought into the shop to the time it left and no one ever checked the tires. So I asked him if I get into the car the light should not be on and he said yes. Its still on so I drive the car over to the tire side and ask for the tire gauge and check the tires the right rear was at 30 psi.I will never go there again and hope others do go there.
One reason for low rating here. BEGGERS! I dont meet bums or transients. I mean this place always has aggressive folks let setup infront for donations for causes. They approach and block you. Like the softball team that was there, i felt like i was going to be assulted by saying no. Another time they had adults selling candy outside and while we were there the sellers were being arrested. Does this place sound ok to you? I did not think so. Maybe management should check these people and move them away from the doors if they let them do this. Isnt it against fire code to block an exit?
Nothing wrong specifically with this Wal-Mart. Just Wal-Mart in general is a miserable experience especially dealing with the other shoppers which really makes it suck balls. Instead of shopping like normal people they have to have a family reunion in the middle of an isle with some jagoff they ran into.
What can you say about Walmart that hasnt already been said?... Huge store, decent prices for the most part, and decent customer service. Surprisingly they dont always have everything Im looking for. Still, no place else has it all either, so I guess Walmart is the place to go!
Cleaner than most Wal-Marts. We frequently get frustrated with slow restocking of food and other items but, its close to home and convenient. They dont usually have many cashiers working but we use self checkout and speedy checkout when possible. Just a fyi for verizon customers, I have spotty to no cell reception here and in the parking lot. No wifi available in the store either.
Auto department was horrible went in for oil change since I went in two weeks before to have done and they broke my oil sensor but reading paper nothing is holding them responsible. Grr car started over heating and was quart n half low. Three men in working no other cars in line rest finished up. And guys said it was a 3 hour wait because in half hour he was loosing two guys..air tools 30 minutes till they left and 3 hrs really?? Calcutta has never done anything like this so it isnt all of the Wal-Mart auto service places. No problem with other departments just know cheap isnt always better..also my oil previous trip was a little over in oil and yet on side of my paperwork handed back its automatically messaged with my car having low oil. Im not shocked they are trying to cover themselves incase a motor is already bad when brought in but take pride in what you do!! GggeeshhAlso On line ordered phones and couldnt use one because Wal-Mart hadnt scanned it right so even tho I have on line recipient and phone they are unable to override to scan with out me paying for it again and yet I got no offer of a gift card to even help with payment of another phone. I feel like a paying customer with recipient should be able to have any issues fixed especially if its on their end and not mine. BUY ANOTHER ONE because you messed up!!!!!!!! I really am not hard to plz I work customer service and if I didnt make it right with a customer I prob wouldnt have a job.

2022-05-16This is definitely one of the best ones Ive gone to in the burgh area. Ive gone a couple of times here and mostly I find everything I need from here. By looking inside, youll find that the stock is almost full. The collection of toys is so huge among all other stores in the area. So now I know where to go to buy gifts for little kids.

2022-04-23I am writing this review about the experience my daughter friend and grandchildren had at this store... They went to check out and a cashier kept saying they needed to do to one that was lit green( we already know) then she proceeded to stand behind my daughter and a co-worker came by and asked her to do something and she said she waswatching my family..my daughter then asked what she said and she would not repeat it ....she continued to talk horribly disrespectful and screamed for a manager ( whose name Ill leave out) the manager stood further back which made me think nothing was going on since she didnt say anything...as the the older woman continued to stand directly behind my daughter...when they asked the cashier her name she grabbed her name tag and flipped and folded her hand over it ...I do not know if this was a racial thing but I am appalled at this happening and in front of children....something should be done and if you dont like your job you should not work there!!!

2022-06-01I love Chippewa Walmart! Always clean, shelves stocked and minimal wait time at the check out. Pharmacist there is extremely kind, informative and down to earth. Conveniently located in the midst of numerous restaurants and other retailers.

2022-06-16If you seen One Walmart you’ve seen them all but the one in Chippewa is by far the best and the only one I will go to from here on out. Plenty of parking everything is always in stock and there is always a checkout line either Assistance or self check out available. Very good garden section and the food section is equally as outstanding. This is Walmart you should be going to.

2022-05-27At 8:00 am you would think the bathrooms would be clean. Every stall needed cleaned with trash bins full, seems that at least overnight they could have been maintained and ready for a new day.

2022-06-08Went to return an un open ps5 controller didnt have the receipt. The lady at the customer service desk was very rude and was acting as if I was already an inconvenience. She then proceeded to open the sealed controller and after says the item can not be returned because the 30 day return policy which I wasnt told before she opened. She was very rude and will not be returning to this walmart. I called customer service and dont even want the controller after this experience. Now I have a used ps5 controller. Horrible horrible place

2022-02-13My first time at this location. The greeter was very friendly and charming. The store was clean but not very well stocked on several items. Floor plan is a little confusing to navigate if youve never been there before. If you plan to use the self checkout, be prepared to be hovered over. Seriously, Im all for security and theft prevention but this staff member was literally stalking my register, despite the fact that there was another worker standing within 6 get off me the whole time I was scanning my items. I felt very uncomfortable and will not be returning to this location.
