I would highly recommend visiting WatchBox if you are looking for a luxury watch. They offer a large, detailed selection of watches that will suit every occasion and style. I worked with Tyler who was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and guided me in finding the perfect watch to add to my collection. I received my watch in 2 days and the watch was in perfect condition. The process was quick, easy and enjoyable. It beats visiting traditional boutiques and ADs for sure.

I recently completed a transaction with Kaleb. I traded in a watch which i got a fair price on and acquired a Rolex Sea Dweller Deep Sea ref.126660.. The process was seamless! Kaleb was on point with all the questions i asked him and in a matter of a week or so i was wearing my Deep Sea. Cant recommend the WatchBox team enough and especially Kaleb. This is my 2nd purchase with WB, 1st was seamless and very professional. The 2nd started a little very slow and delayed with communication from my previous salesman, so I had to reach out to another salesperson ( Jason ) to take over the sale of which he did a good job overall. I traded 2 watches which the appraisal was a little low, but I know they need to make room to make money wholesale or retail. I sent my trades in for evaluation for 2 maybe 3 days and the following day I received my new watch in fantastic condition!!! Any watch you get will be in great condition 👍 👌 🙌
This is literally the second review I’ve ever left.Mr. Phil Maltese did a fantastic job helping me acquire this amazing Chopard piece. Since I’m not close to any of their offices, everything was done remotely, and smoothly. Before this I’ve never made a purchase before looking at the product in person, so at the beginning I was a bit unsure about everything, from transferring the money to the condition of the piece. But Phil was really patient with me asking similar question over and over, and explained every detail about how things work. Also I can tell he’s passionate about his job. He’s so responsive and always reply my message quickly even it’s not during business hours. And he does everything he could to help you get a good price. Eventually the watch came to me shortly after I wired the money, in mint condition (love it)! I love watches. I have all my life. This week I purchased a timepiece from Watchbox, and it was a fantastic experience. It was not my only experience with this company. Some years ago I purchased a Rolex from them and it was a smooth, seamless transaction with top notch communication all the way. I’ve definitely had hesitation in the past about purchasing pre-owned watches, wrongly assuming that the quality and condition would probably be poor. After around a year of looking for a specific limited edition Speedmaster, I realized that pre-owned was the only way to go, but was not able to find a combination of price and condition that seemed appealing. Then I found a listing for it on the watch box, with all the original papers and box. While trying to make a decision, Kaleb helped me out by sending me all the relevant photos, videos, and descriptions about the product. He was lightning fast with each response and guided me through the whole process. When I received my watch, I was blown away by how pristine and well-preserved it was. I have purchased 3 watches from watchbox over the course of over half a year. 2/3 of the watches I received had problems that required using the Watchbox/manufacture warranty. I had multiple issues in this process and was even called by a manager (Aliana) to apologize for the lack of communications and issues (I did not request to speak to anyone regarding my experience, I was called by her). The salesman I worked with were Jay (who after the first experience, told me he could not work with me) and then Phil. I worked with Christine in the service department, who I will say is the only excellent experience dealing with watchbox (she is wonderful and stays on top of things) I cannot recommend this company. If i could give 2.5 stars I would have. I will detail the experiences by each watch below.Watch 1 (Breitling Chronomat 38 SleekT):-I purchased a Chronomat 38 from Watchbox during the beginning of summer 2020. Upon receiving it I was thrilled until I realized it was running about 30 seconds fast, which for a chronometer seemed off. It was still under Breitlings manufacturer warranty, so I decided to send it back to watchbox for them to fix it or send it to Breitling. They decided to send it to Breitling. Throughout the process I had to send multiple emails to see what was happening. After prying for weeks I left a review on ebay, then a manager (Aliana) reached out to personally apologize for the experience. I did not think this was necessary but thought it was nice. I got the watch back and the date would not change. After a request I managed to get a full refund, but the entire process took months and a lot of time to end up with nothing in the end. I was surprised Watchbox did not inspect the watch after getting it back from Breitling, but chalked it up to a mistake.Watch 2 (Oris Divers 65):I traded in an old Breitling aerospace plus cash for an Oris Divers 65. This watch luckily worked as expected. This time I worked with Phil who although used “used car salesman” tactics (such as “let me talk to my manager” then coming back 30 seconds later), he was reasonable. I have attached a photo of said watch.Watch 3 (Omega SMP 212)I purchased an Omega Seamaster professional from Phil. I wanted to make the offer on ebay initially, but found out I was blocked from making offers to watchbox on eBay. After inquiring why, I was told I would get an explanation or call. Aliana called once, I returned the call to no reply. As mentioned, I was able to purchase the watch from Phil. The watch came in a timely fashion but I had to ask for an invoice and was texted it (why should a customer have to ask for an invoice on such an expensive item is beyond me.) The bezel was misaligned and it was running slightly inaccurately, so I figured I could use the warranty and get it fixed easily. I sent it in the middle of January, they took a month to look at it and mid February informed me they sent it to omega, and gave me a 2-3 month estimate on top of the month they already had it. I still do not have my watch. Christina has been largely great through this but is working in a system that is not conducive to good customer service. Extremely disappointed considering I purchased, and have barely been able to own the watch.Bottom line: They do not seem to have coherent warranty communication, do not follow up often, and do not seem to care about the

He has beat every other vendor on service, availability and price. I will continue to happily spend my money here and enjoy Tim Mosso’s videos. Their expert staff (Alex), Youtube videos detailing the exact timepiece you are purchasing, and amazing selection makes the experience feel far more upscale than other online purchases.There is a lot of bad service and even fraud out there, especially in the pre-owned watch market. I am very skeptical when it comes to doing business over the internet or on the phone but I am now 100% comfortable doing business with Watchbox. I worked with both Phil and Kaleb but mostly Kaleb. Both were extremely polite, professional, and personable. There was no hype, no pressure to make a purchase, just a sincere effort to provide the best, most effective customer service possible - what a rarity these days! Was browsing around the web for a particular discontinued watch. Left a request to be notified on Watchboxs site.. didnt really think I would hear back, or anytime soon at least. Within a few days, the stellar Phil Maltese reached out and told me they just acquired the exact model. Perfect specimen too.. full set. Never purchased a watch online, so I was a bit apprehensive.. Phil Maltese was the exact person I needed to offer me the assurances to assuage my concerns. Extremely professional, affable, and the shipping was incredibly fast, exactly as estimated. Attention to detail was very impressive.. the triple calendar/moonphase complications were set exactly to MY timezone and the watch was still ticking on its 48 hr power reserve upon receipt.. with over a day to spare before I rewound it. Would definitely do business with Phil and WatchBox again.
I was so very nervous to send such an expensive watch to be sold / traded in. I had NOTHING to worry about! Lea was my case manager and was AMAZING! After my watch was inspected; I received my funds in a few days, actually early, at the price agreed upon, I WOULD ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! BEATS A PAWN SHOP ANYDAY!

Have worked with Justin Sadusky on two watches (one purchase, and another trade-in). Hes very communicative, friendly, and has great attention to detail. First watch was actually located in a WB location abroad. He was able to work with his international colleagues to get my questions answered about the watch. Second watch was a trade-in; I reached out to Justin when I saw a watch that I was interested in. Sent him pictures of the watch I wanted to trade-in for it, he gave me a quote, shipping label, payment link, and sent the new watch to me all within the span of 2 business days. Very impressed with WB and Justin Sadusky in particular!
This was my first time selling a watch. I had the pleasure of doing business with Hans Singer who is one of their senior client advisors. I was skeptical and worried that somehow this would not work in my favor as I am with many other online businesses. Hans had provided me with a soft offer range until they can inspect the watch. I was thrilled when he said that they would be willing to offer the highest of that range after their inspection. Hans was very professional and the team at watchbox relieved a lot of my worries. Sent this company a couple of emails with questions about some of the watches they had for sale on their website and they never responded. If a company cant be professional enough to respond to emails in a timely manner why would I ever consider buying a luxury watch from this company.If youre looking for a high end luxury watch check out crown and caliber; they are extremely responsive to email questions and appreciate your business and do everything they can to make sure you are a satisfied customer.
After sending our watch to two other online resellers (Bobs Watches and Crown & Caliber) who both tried to bait and switch us, the experience with the WatchBox was amazing. I had lost faith that we would be able to sell our watch to an honest purveyor (and was thinking of just keeping the watch), Layla at the WatchBox was so nice, accommodating and easy to work with. They not only paid me the price that they quoted (which was much higher than what both Bobs and Crown & Caliber offered), but getting paid only required filling out a form for the wire. (Crown & Caliber charges a fee if you want the money wired to you.) If you want to sell your watch, skip all the hassle, and sell it to the WatchBox. Ask for Layla.
Alex, I just have to tell you how happy I am with this watch purchase. The condition of the watch was perfect, just as you had told me. I could not tell it wasn’t brand new. I easily sized the bracelet to fit my wrist perfectly. I had not seen this watch except online, and when I put it on my wrist I was just awe struck by the beauty of it. I submitted two of my lesser used Rolex watches to Watchbox online for an offer. I was called about an hour after I submitted the watches and spoke with woman who proceeded to try and sell me other watches that were not on their website and some of which they did not yet have. She expressed little or no interest in the watches that I offered. Finally at the end of our conversation she gave me two low-ball offers for my watches. Okay so it was a wasted 20 minutes I was satisfied to just leave it, however the next day I received more than 10 spam messages from watch box. I used their unsubscribe link twice to no avail. I continue to get spam messages from watch box daily sometimes multiple messages a day. I get so much spam from them that it has motivated me to leave this bad review. My whole interaction with watch box has been negative. Really sloppy.
Kaleb helped my wife choose a watch for me for Christmas - I was so delighted, but my wife didnt know I preferred a self-winding over a manual calibre. I texted Kaleb and explained the situation. Inquired recently about a trade and initial follow up was fantastic. Once I submitted the requested info I heard absolutely nothing from the sales specialist. I left them a voicemail and 2 follow up emails. Still nothing. I went to another Philly watch dealer and traded towards a Fifty Fathoms. Super disappointed in my experience. I will give it another go down the road as I love their media content and diverse watch selections.

I had just made my first purchase with WatchBox, an Omega Speedmaster Day-Date (3520.50.00). I have to say, what followed really sets them apart. First and foremost, this watch arrived to me as if it came right from the factory, in absolutely pristine condition despite being out of production for a fair amount of time. Second, it was at my door in less than two days after ordering. Third, what I paid was much better than what I had found elsewhere online, especially considering the price and condition; it even looks better than the pictures! Working with Peter Bell was a 5-star experienceI had been searching for a watch to surprise my husband for his birthday. I would not recommend this place to anyone. They basically use tons of redundant watch review videos on YouTube to get their name exposure, and to grab peoples attentions (that is their marketing tricks). In terms of their business, I tried to trade several watches with them, and found their deals are very bad. They are trying to make big profits, and the sales persons are just unprofessional, e.g., simply ignoring their customers email without any courtesy. Go somewhere else to get a better deal, if you want to trade/sell your watches.

S. Cleveland here. I am blown away by the trustworthy professionalism of not only the company WatchBox, but the salesman I worked with there, Justin Rix. For 3 years I knew my first Rolex purchase would be a pre-owned GMT Master II. I’m an airline pilot and wanted the ultimate tool watch for my vocational needs - and a nice bit of bling - on my arm. God knows, never having bought a new Rolex dress watch, I was NOT going to get a new Rolex sport watch from any certified dealer any time soon. My wait time would literally be “eternity”. Knowing this, I finally pulled the trigger on a GMT Master II, spending $11,500 at a pre-owned dealer I’d never worked with before; WatchBox. Needless to say I was apprehensive. A couple days later, a virtually perfect 16713 Root-beer Serti Dial arrived via FedEx, but within moments of opening the case, I realized this amazing watch would not work for me. No fault of the watch, dealer or salesman. What I realized looking at the watch in live conditions for the first time was that it took me more time to read the watch given the color of the arms over the face (gold over silver) than I was comfortable with. This was something I hadn’t accounted for. I was stunned. As an airline pilot, I need something readable in a flash of the wrist. The GMT Master two-tone (LN) would have made far more sense (gold over black). Now, I had to see if their 7-day no questions asked return/exchange policy was worth its weight, or if I had just bought a multi-thousand dollar watch I would almost never wear. I called Justin and explained the detail I had overlooked in choosing this particular watch. It was my fault. I owned it. On top of that, I added that I saw a very similar GMT Master II in their inventory that addressed this previously overlooked detail and requested an exchange with a small additional difference-payment from me to make it happen. The watch I wanted to exchange the originally delivered watch for was a bit more expensive. And then, with no BS, no questions asked and without making me feel guilty or shamed, Justin told me to simply return the watch to them. He emailed me a free FedEx label with which to return the watch to them and I wired the difference that same day. Now, 3 days later, I’m sitting here on my couch, feeling like a king, in complete satisfaction. The second GMT Master II mailed to me by WatchBox is equally as pristine as the first but, I can read the hands now in the blink of an eye. WatchBox allowed me to exchange an $11,500 watch over such a small detail... without so much as a “why?”. Phenomenal!! I am one happy pilot and satisfied customer. These guys are amazing!

Only after posting the review below, with one star, I got a response from Josh. He apologized for the mix up, as he put it. Then we traded a couple more email and talked on the phone. Josh was cordial and professional and he made me a counter offer, which was not anything amazing, but that wasnt my issue.Regarless, from Joshs description, Govberg Jewlers has been in business since 1916 and seems quite reputable; still nothing about the watch in writing (other than a price and a web link to the original listing,) but he did follow up in a timely and professional manner. That, at the minimum, is what I expected.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I made an offer on their website for a watch that they were asking almost $7k for. The website accepted the offer and someone contacted me to discuss the sale. When I said I want to get everything in writing, the sales person cut off any further communication... I find that suspicious.

It is not. Last year I met the woman of my dreams and we got engaged. Knowing my love of watches she sought out a piece that was part of my personal grail. We landed on the 5930 G worldtime, PP. I can go on about how bullish I am on this watch but I’ll just say that it’s the most beautiful timepiece I have ever laid my eyes on.We decided to pull the trigger and with a date closing upon us for the wedding we needed to expedite. Bill Comfort (my go-to) at Govberg ran point in executing the transaction.I delayed my flight to go link up with members of my wedding party so I can show off the timepiece. We planned the timing of the shipping to be a few hours before I took off. This was a recipe for disaster and Murphy’s Law kicked in.FedEx screwed up my delivery and the watch was lost in the mailing vortex limbo. Bill wasn’t having it. He drove from Philly to NJ and through the traffic of NYC to hand deliver me the watch fighting off “less than brilliant” delivery logistical people along the way.Who does this? The smile on his face personally delivering the watch before I had to board my flight was almost as good as the unboxing. Almost.If you are looking for the right people to deal with let this whole story be a sign in the right direction towards Bill Comfort and Govberg. His last name really is Comfort.Btw, the watch is amazing and I’m very excited to walk down the aisle with the most beautiful woman in the world, wearing the most beautiful timepiece in the world. - JS
With all these fake reviews of WatchBox, I thought Id do the justice of writing a real review. Purchased a watch from Alaina, which although was quite rare, was still way above market value. Finally after bargaining, I received a $400 discount. Communication was great up to the point of purchase, with quick responses. After I received the box, my heart skipped a beat. Good heavens, I thought. It is missing the original strap, there must be some mistake. I called Alaina multiple times without any response. Finally got hold of Jonathan at the store. Apparently Alaina was on vacation or more likely out of the store drinking booze after making money from me. I also emailed her to no avail. A week later, I finally got a response. She said the original strap was not included, and it would be another $400 to buy it (oh really? As if to add insult to injury). I called the original factory themselves in Europe, and theyre selling it for $238, and advised me that every watch they sell comes with both straps. Those that sell the watch without both straps are dishonest folks, just like this store. I would never recommend this disgusting place to anyone. One star for selling me a genuine and working watch, albeit with some stains on it.
My experience with Wathbox was seamless and very enjoyable. I was able to purchase a BR01-94 Red which I had previously owned several years ago. I had been searching for this model since the initial sale and was pleasantly surprised to find it on the Watchbox site. Armand Johnston represented WB professionally and assisted me during the entire sales process. Armand walked me through the process and assuaged any concerns I may have had. The time piece he delivered was exactly what I was looking for during my search. Bell & Ross is a unique brand. It is a watch I will cherish for years. I will also be a repeat customer to Watch Box. Their response time to emailed inquires was very quick and their product knowledge was supierior to Crown and Caliber in many ways. Let me start off by stating a fact - Watch U Want is a tremendous resource in terms of informational content to the watch collector.Having said that, recently I tried to deal with them (I was hoping to sell them a watch) and the person I spoke to was pretty distracted to the point where I wondered if this person wanted to do business with me. Additionally, I was made to feel as a dishonest person dealing with a reluctant fence. At the end of the conversation, the rep said he would follow up with me but that never occurred.I dont need white glove treatment, but a little common decency goes a long way, particularly when dealing in premium products. Needless to say, I dont recommend Watch U Want.

Very mixed experience with Watchuwant. Great service when I was looking to buy and quickly got the watch I wanted, exactly as described. AFTER buying the watch, when i tried several times to contact the salesman, Juan Arango, with some concerns, I got ZERO response. Based on the total lack of post-purchase customer service, I would NOT recommend dropping $1000s with Watchuwant.

I myself have had a run in with unfair valuations. I am by no means insulting the company as they have overhead and a business to run. But I have found that Crown and Caliber, and a few others do give better money when selling or trading a watch.You think there would be more leniency when trading up in valuation. I was looking at trading a Rolex that was serviced 8 months prior by Rolex, full box and papers, etc... toward a two tone GMT Master.Ended up getting 2k more from Crown and Caliber and the GMT Master I wanted. I guess by volume maybe some others do more business hence having a better payout die to volume.Thats too bad we couldnt do business the people are nice and they do have good watches that they stand behind. They are priced fairly.My only problem is buyout pricing or trade valuations. Had this been the price I have gotten from other retailers I would have been ok with the pricing. But a 2 thousand dollar desparity is alarming.However, if you are not trading, these guys sell good watches and I would not hesitate to buy one from them.

WUW was more than fare in their offer taking all those things into consideration.... could you make more selling it on craigslist? Your time will be wasted with this company... Look for other similar 2nd hand watch sellers. Easy to find many others that are far more straightforward, more honest, established stores out there. All this company has done is to upload crazy amounts of uninteresting watch review videos (that can only talk about watch dimensions) on youtube for marketing.

From a females point of view I am totally disgusted in the way that WB have conducted themselves in such an unprofessional manner with one of our investors, the management have demonstrated zero respect as well as a very poor culture internally, not to mention lack of integrity within the company to allow for someone to be cyber bullied online from the WB Trading Desk employees repeatedly without intervention by management demonstrates that they are being spurred them on to act in this way by the senior management to whom they report. Why would you trade, buy or sell your watch with thjs company when so many other options exist.

From a buyers point of view Ive had two good experiences. Im in Australia so I was naturally reluctant to pay money to someone in the US for something that I could not touch or see. However in both cases the watch arrived on time and the items were as advertised.

2022-07-07Decided to take my advice to my boat customers that you only live once and to buy my first Rolex in 20 years after giving up my collection in a divorce. Alex immediately responded to my inquiry and offer even though he was on vacation. Moved me to a different, slightly less expensive one he had because he felt it was a better value. Price was fair, service exceptional and delivery as promised. If every business acted the same way the world would be a better place!

2022-01-11It’s not easy to decide on which company to trust when you are not directly buying from the brand. There are so many horrible counterfeit stories out there. After some research I knew I could trust Watchbox. Thanks to Phil Maltese as he helped me locate the only color combination I was looking for. He walked me through the whole process via phone, along with emails and texts. So many businesses these days lack this kind of customer support. I know where to get my next watch.

2022-06-22I had a really great experience here selling my watch. I inquired on the website and got an email back from Max a day or so later. Max was super helpful in the process of selling my watch. We talked on the phone about possible trades as well as an outright sale. He was extremely helpful and provided a great customer experience. He also offered me a very fair price. After dropping off the watch, I heard back the next day for the inspection report. There were a few things that needed fixed that deducted from the original quote, but the repairs were definitely reasonable. The final number was more than fair and Max helped me get the best price possible. Justin was also great and easy to work with when I dropped off the watch at the Philadelphia HQ. I got the wire the next business day after accepting the offer.Overall, I had a really great experience selling my watch here and would recommend to all.
