2022-06-07After having found Wayward Trading Post on Instagram, I became an instant fan of their work.During that time, Abby our 17 year old German Short hair Pointer began to decline and ultimately crossed the Rainbow Bridge in February.In March my nephew and I had the chance to meet Tina at the Fly Fishing Show in Lancaster PA, the craftsmanship of Wayward Trading Posts work was even more evident in person and I knew I had to have them forever immortalize Abbys memory!After making a few decisions on net size and options, I left the artwork to my wife and Tina to collaborate a surprise for my 50th birthday and retirement.I was able to open the net in front of family and friends and to say that their combined work truly captured Abbys spirit is an understatement.I truly couldnt hold back the tears in front of a crowd of firemen Ive worked with for over 20 years.Thank you again for taking the time to make every detail perfect!!! Im so happy Ill be able to take her with me in the river!!!I cant deny that the net is almost TOO NICE for repeated use :) but Ill forever cherish this gift!!I was also asked to commission a prototype net hanger, which is equally if not more stunning than the net.Thank you also for creating the leash hanger, it was perfectly timed for our anniversary and made it on the wall before the net did, happy wife, happy life!I cant say THANK YOU enough!!! You truly captured our girls spirit in your work!

2022-06-06Really wonderful work! I ordered the Little Dipper with a custom engraved image of my two dogs from a picture I sent. The wood choices and pieces used is really a nice touch. The net is a work of art - beautiful craftsmanship, amazing engraved and colored artwork. I’m thrilled to have this what I’m sure will be a lifelong treasure. Very happy I found and ordered this!

2022-02-06I commissioned a net to be made and could not have been more please with every step of the process.Super talented and friendly artist and woodworker.10/10 would recomend to anyone. Found out about them on reddit.
