I have shopped at Wegmans located in Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. The experience is always consistently wonderful: well designed layout, excellent produce, fresh meats, fair prices, pleasant staff, cafe (pizza, sandwiches, coffees), (pre-Covid: hot foods bar), efficient check out, and overall, a very inviting presentation. I go out of my way to shop there -- every chance I get.
Love this city of the best of everything you could want! My favorite place to shop for groceries, meats, produce. The staff is great, and ALWAYS willing to help. And there are many people around to assist, unlike Walmart.
This place is MAGICAL!! It is honestly the future (at least I hope) of the grocery store. They have EVERYTHING!! All at surprisingly excellent prices! The selection provided is huge of nearly every kind of item you would need. In particular, theyre wine and beer section is a store unto itself! They also have an amazing pet section and produce section. The store workers are outstanding! They are helpful, polite and very knowledgeable about the products in theyre section! I was so happy with how clean the store was, its miraculous considering the store is several years old! It was spotless and the floors shined! Tou could see your reflection! I highly recommend shopping here for all your grocery needs!
This is my favorite grocery store in town and has the best sushi Ive ever had, hands down. And they have things in stock that are missing at other retailers. Slightly higher prices.

Wegmans is the best! It’s our local Whole Foods :) (we have WF as well but in Erie Wegmans is much better). It has a huge selection of special foods, vegan/gluten free etc, great veggies, fruits and herbs that are so so fresh and the prices are fair. Some things are even cheaper than in Walmart.
Best grocery store of all time. Prepared foods are great too, especially the sub shop. Wegmans is the only thing I miss from when I lived in Erie.
I wish I remembered her name but the employee working the self checkout today around 2pm.She was kind and helpful.I gave her a ROAR water!! Hopefully someone lets her know she was rad!!

I do Instacart on the side and I came into this store and this lady pulled me from self check out and said I’m not allowed to use self check out while doing Instacart!?!? I called Instacart and they said they have no idea why that person was talking bout they had me go wait in line when I could have did it myself and saved me ten minutes waiting!! I am very disturbed!! Plus I use self check out every time I’m in that store never been pulled from self check out!
Love Wegmans!!! They have the best produce in town!!! Great bulk foods! Lots of specialty foods!! Great selection of pre-made salads. Awesome beer and wine selection! Subs are fantastic and you can order custom sub and sandwich trays!! Including Peanutbutter and Jelly for the kids!!
Such a great store! It is very clean and every aisle is perfectly displayed. Carts are clean and disinfectants are mounted near entrances. Employees walk around with walkie talkies making sure everything is good for the customer. Plus, their shopping bags are highly wanted by family members when I bring items home.
This was the BEST store. But when Covid hit it started to slide. Not worth going to now.

This is a great grocery store. Clean, well stocked, fair prices. The pre-made foods are only okay, definitely had much better other grocery store chains, but theyre not bad though they are overpriced. The deli pizza is pretty good especially for the cost. This place does get pretty crowded best to go during off-times.
Wegmans has items I cannot find in my local grocery stores. Has premade items for a quick meal prep (Asian, Italian, sushi, American). Better selection of cheese,a bakery, wide range of meats and seafood, good produce section)
This review is strictly relating to the pharmacy. Several times now I have been told that my prescription is ready, even talked to a person on the phone to confirm and when I get there I have to wait over 20 minutes for it! There are some major gaps in this pharmacy
I love Wegmans! Everything is clean and bright; the aisles are open and lack pillars that make them smaller (unlike other stores that limit traffic via poor design.) Instead of long aisles that go from the front to the back of the store, the aisles are subdivided in the middle (outside of the extremely open produce section, the pharmacy, and the perimeter of the store) which allows one to change direction quickly to navigate from one section to another. They have an amazing allergen-free, gluten-free, and dairy free selection although sometimes there are more choices in the pasta aisle, in the baking aisle, and near the butter/margarine areas that are not in the dedicated plant-based sections of the store. There is an area of shelf-stable goods as well as frozen goods. They have an amazing meat selection that includes bison, lamb, and seafood galore in addition to the normal staples of beef, chicken, and pork. Their seafood selection includes Chilean sea bass, mussels, clams, shrimp, tilapia, cod, and at least three more kinds of fish in the freezers. I am not familiar with the fresh deli seafood area at this time or the deli meat section, which may have more choices. Wegmans has nearly everything available in their store brand and I find myself saving hundreds of dollars with the store discount card as I restock my kitchen. The employees wear bright colors and are always friendly when we speak; I have witnessed deli workers cheerfully explaining the stock to patrons and I have not met an unpleasant cashier yet. I have been a regular for half a year and this is the only store I go to; Giant Eagle has a patheti-sad selection of food -- I think Aldi has more gluten-free than they do (at least, an Aldi from St. Louis.) The store is always inviting and I find the plant displays amazing -- they offer both potted plants and cut flowers. I would find it impossible to live without this store since I am grain-free, sugar-free, nightshade-free, and dairy-free. It is the store with the widest selection of foods that meet my dietary restrictions. I look forward to seeing more wholesome Wegmans products that tick all these boxes as they seem to add more every month! They also have an enormous freshly made to-go section that I personally cannot sample but I can tell you that it appeases my foodie eyes and makes me wish they made things that were gluten-free, if not rice-free. They have soup, salad, pizza logs, breaded chicken, macaroni and potato salad, seasoned broccoli (boo @ butter), sushi, egg rolls, stir fries, spaghetti, and who knows what else -- all ready for you to grab-and-go for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It all looks so delectable! There is a bakery, too, which is near the entrance, where they sell donuts, cakes, pies, muffins, and bread. I havent tried those, either, but sometimes I shop for a very picky eater who happens to approve of the sweets. This is my one-stop shopping spot since they have all my staples. And, if one goes frequently enough, one can find seasonal items on clearamce, as well. Thank you, Wegmans! My transition to living in Erie would be miserable without you. Their hours of 7 am to midnight have proven immensely helpful as I prepare food for an entire week at a time and find myself running out of ingredients as late as 10 P.M. All in all, there is no competition when it comes to this store and my diet. Thank you again Wegmans. You are an outstanding brand and I look forward to many years of patronage.
Ordered wings for curbside pickup. They pack the wings in a pizza box. The sauce spilled all over my back seat. Hope it doesnt stain. Not ordering wings from them again. Try packing them in boxes that dont leak.

I apologize this time I have no pictures. But I do love the store because of everything that they have. I absolutely love their packaged meals. The display of the packaged meals is excellent.But just the selections alone, I think the store is better than the local stores thats in the surrounding areas.
One of the best grocery stores in Erie. It has a wide selection. The employees are helpful. The organization is a little strange, hot dogs do not belong in the dairy section. Malt vinegar was no where to be found. I found just about every type of vinegar known to man except what I was looking for. Then there was multiple different areas where they displayed the vinegars. Nice store just strange arrangement.
Emily went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure our extra sub was added to a delivery order right before the driver left. TOP NOTCH customer service.

While traveling around the US from our home in CO, we stopped at the Erie store. Wow, it is outstanding. The quality, selection, variety of prepared meals and OMG the bakery. In addition the store design is attractive, staff is friendly and the store and restrooms are spotless. Other stores could learn arching or two about how a grocery store experience should be

They always have a nice clean store, the prepared foods section is excellent- I love looking through the selections when I go up there for lunch- it always looks good there. My favorite is the prepared sushi they make!

Wegman s always will get five stars from me. The employees are always pleasant and willing to assist in anyway that they can. My complaint is with the patrons. We are all going through difficult times right now. It does no one any good to be rude. Whatever happened to kindness? If you are going to be nasty, stay home.

I love Wegmans. Not as much as I love HEB but its close. In fact Wegmans sparkling water selection actually puts it over the top on a lot of levels but prices can be a bit rough compared to an HEB in Texas. But compared to the dirty smelly chain grocery stores of Erie PA Wegmans is like the promised land. Now Erie has some nice Indie spots and farmers stands but the other chains in Erie are straight trash compared to Wegmans. All hail.
Wegmans is always good the bakery workers did a great job on a cake but thanks to massive inflation and covid prices were way high in everything than it was 2 years ago
Stopped in while on vacation. First time at a Wegmans and wishing they would open a store in Michigan. Huge variety, clean environment, highly enjoyable shopping experience. Excellent customer service with helpful and friendly staff!

Weve always wanted to go to one of these stores. My husband went in to get some pop that is hard to find in Ohio. We stocked up. He said it looked very nice inside. Next time well check it out more. Lots of places to park.
I came into wegmans at around 1am. The manager lady on shift was helpful and friendly. The store was clean and well stocked. I wish the by the pound buffet was open or the sandwiches. I LOVE ALL THE CHEESES!!!I wish there was a wegmans in Colorado!!
I lived right down the road. I liked the place. Had about everything I needed. Liked having lunch there.
Customer service has gone way down from years ago used to go here all the time only go there if its absolutely necessary was just there its not even super late the only have 2 registers open no fast lane no self service just not what it used to be thats why I go home most of the time somewhere else. I only go there when i absolutely have to. Place is a joke. They are getting rid of plastic bags for the environment yet they throw away thousands of lbs of food a week. Hypocritical much?

My husband and I are very recent transplants from another state, and when weve moved in the past, weve always worried for some reason about what the grocery stores would be like. We were pretty blown away by Wegmans. Their alcohol and more specialized foods are quite a bit more expensive that were used to, but we were impressed by the variety and often the quality. Well be customers as long as we live here!

Im from Erie PA and moved 15 years ago. A must for me to go to when I come home is Wegmans. Its a beautiful store with so many options and the smells of all the wonderful different foods is amazing.
Excellent selection, different options for multiple items, great fresh produce selection, fresh herbs! Well marked prices, store layout makes sense, store shelves are front and faced very nicely. Very busy. Employees are helpful and knowledgeable
Have dinner at the grocery store! Expansive prepared foods section. We ate a healthy and delicious meal consisting of teriyaki salmon, roasted seasoned green beans, chicken and shrimp with rice noodles and Greek salad. There are clean microwaves to heat food, trays to carry things. Sit outside at the soothing stone patio featuring a fountain!
Wegmans when are you going to stop selling spoiled food? Moldy berries, rotten fish, meats that haven’t been climate controlled, bags of salad with wilted slimy lettuce. Can’t trust anything here anymore.

Wegmans is amazing! You can find anything you could possibly need here. I came from Ohio and HAD to go to Wegmans just for the experience and of course some ring macaroni and the Wegmans brand triple fruit jelly!
They have the BEST sushi ever. So fresh and delicious. I’ve tried 5 star hibachi places and it tastes like trash compared to Wegmans. I drive 30 mins just to go get some lol I’m obsessed.

Never a bad experience at Wegmans. Friendly staff and a huge selection and subs to die for. I highly recommend stopping by if you are near by I promise you wont regret it.
Pharmacy is OK most of the staff is OK but if youre diabetic they have nothing for you besides nuts and fudge bars. People ride around the store on two wheeled scooters. Ive been hit walking to my car. Better than Giant Eagle but never again. Update they added Godiva candy. Buy it from Godivas web site, it is very fresh. Their prices are way too high you can get better meat and lobster much cheaper elsewhere. They were ruled to pay millions in back taxes so up went their prices. They sell things listed as keto friendly but its not in any way low carb. I just get a few things there no one else carries.
I think that this is the nicest grocery store that I have ever been to! I love coming to Erie (we live in Pittsburgh) to come to Wegmans. The way that I described it to my wife was like a cross between Whole Foods and Giant Eagle. The have a huge collection of health food, as well as all the basic grocery store items. They also offer made to order food, like pizza, have a wonderful bakery, full service butcher, etc. It really is a great grocery store. I wish we were closer.

I was surprised to see so much food wrapped in plastic including the chicken and meats. I went to Wegmans in Fairfax for many years and don’t recall all of the plastic shrink wrap on many of these items. It is a shame they are going in the wrong direction for our health and for the planet’s health. They need to rethink their buying power to make the world a better place - not one filled with more trash. Sorry to have to post, but I feel morally obligated.
Had a badly made sub a few months back. Was offered a replacement. Good customer service. The replacement sub was delicious and well made.

I have been shopping at this Wegmans, as its near my home, my whole life. I have shopped at other Wegmans stores through travels and visiting family and I cant say a bad thing about any Wegmans Ive ever been to. With the exception that I love my Wegmans most as it is my home Wegmans store. The Wegmans brand of things is always pretty good. There are very few thing that are the Wegmans brand that we dont prefer. I can only think of three things, and they are still good quality, it more or less a taste my family doesnt care for but it isnt bad. We know other people who like those products better. I have an uncommon allergy thats in loads of food and I have a heck of a time finding regular food I can eat anywhere, except Wegmans. They have lots of good and healthier options, and usually the healthier options are free from allergens for me. So if you or your family have an allergy issue, youll pay less for great quality and probably be very successful finding food the whole family can eat. Always friendly staff, fast efficient checkout, great prices, great produce!Whenever I have to stop to get something I need from a smaller store, namely the local Tops, whatever I need to buy is always more expensive. The only people who say that Wegmans is more expensive are those that dont know how to make a list and not impulse buy. Buy what you need and not the things you dont need that caught your eye that you arent used to seeing because they dont have stuff like that at smaller stores and youll be fine. You can budget for those things later. In summation: a store will ALWAYS be more expensive if you impulse buy!!!Give the Wegmans on Peach Street or any Wegmans a try and you wont be sorry!
The price is right thank you for the good credits everything is fresh and the stock is extremely fair. A good place to spend your time. Passes inspection at 96 percent since 19 its much better to shop with curious and measure. enjoyed God relates to me wegmans is good!
They told us we werent permitted to bring our emotional support dog into the store anymore.This was inspite of the dog being properly vested with her emotional support badge and credentials openly displayed in full view.
This location need to allow the Wegmans shop and go app!!!! It would reduce the long checkout lines. Either shopping, dining or both; Wegmans is one of my go to places when in Erie!
Wegmans is really a great store. They are always friendly and helpful. I love their commitment to better quality and organic foods. Their customer service cant be beat! I have had so many people say they cant afford Wegmans. I dont understand because their prices are very reasonable for the quality of their food. It is really focused on a whole foods diet. I have tried other stores and maybe their prices are better on processed foods, but I dont know because that is not what I buy. If you are trying to eat healthier, you will be surprised at how awesome their food and prices are. We also eat less of nutrient dense food than just garbage calories because our bodies are satisfied sooner.
A great shopping experience, wide variety and great cafe!
We ate warm food in the store. The food was good. There was no upsell of drinks and combo so we forgot drinks which then cost more when we purchased them separately. It was hard to find a seat we could sit at though because the chairs were already put up at not quite 8pm. It was clean, staff was pleasant and the food was worth the cost.
For some strange reason, we dont have Wegmans where I live. This place is the best. The produce is great, the meat is great, and the cafe is terrific. Subs at Wegmans are something my wife and u plan for when we know well be near one for a trip. The Chinese food is decent and the pizza at this one in Erie even surprised us. Ive been to several different Wegmans and the quality has been consistent from one to the next. Highly recommend.

Wag-mens as pronounced by many locals is a grocery store that has so much more than just food. There are many specialty items (meats, cheeses, kitchen gadgets, etc.) that you cant find anywhere else. We were in the area and got some things to take back to Florida that you cant get in the sunshine state. Not an inexpensive place to shop but there are good deals to be had.
Wegmans is the best grocery store in Erie. I lived away from home for nearly a decade and sorely missed Wegmans. Wegmans is the only store so far that I actually enjoy the store brand food. I also have 16 food allergies (Yes, really) so Wegmans is THE place to find allergen-free food. The customer service is second to none, and they are great about social distancing and cleanliness in the age of COVID-19.
Wegmans is always awesome. Amazing staff, great produce and deli items, I bought ribs and burger meat for the 4th on my most recent trip, all of it turned out fantastic!They have a lot to offer and Ive yet to be disappointed. If you havent been to a Wegmans before I highly suggest you change that.

This is hands down the best grocery store in Erie and also the best on the national level. They truely care about the happiness and well-being of their customers and employees. The store is kept in great condition and the product selection is unbelievable with everything from your essentials to exotic. Prices are very competitive and frequently lower than other local stores despite the high-end feel of the place. Theres also planned events such as cooking classes and events for seasonal items like chili pepper roasting. Any other grocery store seems boring by comparison.

The quality and selection of food is probably the best in Erie. You can usually purchase hard to find grocery and baking items here. Their bakery is among the best in the Erie area. Great sub shop and produce section!Having said all that, numerous times Ive had to pass by purchasing an item because their prices are just outrageously over-priced. Their prepared cold food is ridiculously over-priced when you compare it to the cost of warm food served to you at local restaurants!
I ordered a cake for my granddaughters birthday and we took it Red Lobster to have after dinner. The cake was over loaded with filling and the top layer slid off the bottom. I was so embarrassed and angry that a Wegmans cake fell spart. Not to mention it was dry! So disappointed!

Im from Pittsburgh, PA. I havent been at Wegmans since the pandemic started. Today, I found out that they got rid off the hot bar and that they do not offer another option to their delicious ready to eat buffet versatile options. A bummer! Although, I still love Wegmans.
Love shopping there. Nice associates and very helpful. I couldn’t find an organic product I was looking for but had a gentlemen find it for me and he brought it to my cart while I was checking out. He also offered to carry out my moms groceries as she has a disability that doesn’t allow her to get around easily! I will always be a loyal customer to you Wegmans!!
We were there this afternoon around 3:00, or 3:30 when we cashed out on line 12 and the cashier was so nice to us. Very pleasant and smiling the whole time as well as being very quick in packing our groceries. Thank you for making my day.

We traveled here to get chicken curry and they didnt have any along with pretzel rolls! At least we stopped to get my daughter in law! Or I would have been very very upset!!

I’m not one to write reviews often, much less negative ones. but i just need to say this: i ordered one sushi roll, and a side of cold veggies, through doordash at 12:30pm on a weekday. when it got to be 1:30 and my order status hadn’t changed from “preparing your order” and my eta kept getting pushed back, i called to see if there had maybe been an error or something. i was told that the veggies i ordered had a 90-minute prep time, so my order wouldn’t be ready til after 2pm. nowhere on the doordash ordering page does it say that, and i’m a little flabbergasted that putting a side of cold veggies and ranch together could possibly take so long. i’m lucky i’m working from home and whatever, i can eat my lunch whenever, but this kind of thing is... crazy? an hour and a half that i wasn’t informed of when i placed my order??? a little notification before i selected that side would have been appreciated.

Wegmans is the best all around grocery store. It meshes health foods, supplements, and main line groceries and more. I was taking my granddaughter to lunch. She asked to go to Wegmans. Her favorite is the sushi! We will be back.
I like Wegmans, but its not the be all end all of grocery stores. Its a grocery store people, thats all. It is a great store to make yourself sound superior to others. I only shop at Wegmans. Great for vegans, organic and gluten free shoppers. It is what it is. Anyone that says Wegmans has great prices is smoking something. Family Packs and store brand items are inexpensive, but just about everything else, not! If you dont have a budget Wegmans is hard to beat, but there are far better values, without sacrificing quality, available locally. $8.99 lb for the hot food/salad/olive bar is pretty expensive. Judge each item individually and most of those food items arent worth $8.99 a lb. Although, I do like those Peppadews on the Olive Bar. If you go to the pickle section they are cheaper in a jar. Wegmans is amazing.. they have honestly every grocery item you can think of, and ones you never would have even thought of. And its 24 hours.. I hate people and Im a third shifter with weird functioning hours so Im able to come at 3 am and stock up on groceries if I want. And they have that awesome make your own trail mix and the candy bins. Wegmans is amazing
Super nice clean and accommodating store ! It was a very difficult time for me moving to Erie and sorting out my haunts , I’m a avid Whole Foods Market shopper , Wegmans made the transition easier !!! When I get Rose the cashier she makes always makes my experience that much more pleasant ! She helps to give my visit a real small town feel and adds a Whole Food Market Scottsdale AZ kinda friendly to the experience ♥️Thank you , Rose 🌹
Great prices, great products. Usually a great selection of brands and their store brands are great! Love their food bar and coffee cafe. The ability to track receipts online has come in very handy. Employees are very helpful with any issue. The store is great to shop in, clean and organized.My only complaint is they dont run express lanes as much since they installed self-checkout lanes. The self-checkout is awkward to use, not very intuitive, and often backed up. Id much rather be in an express lane where Im not going back & forth, looking for the right button, fighting with the computer about coupons ...
Im from FL and never heard of a Wegmans till my husband said we have to have the subs!!! WOW!!! Ssssooo yummy!! This will definitely be astop when we are around them for sure!!
Wegmans makes it a pleasure to grocery shop. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, produce is fresh, and the store is clean and well kept. They have a nice variety of goods in their own brand for a good price and I find that prices overall are very reasonable.
Shopping at Wegmans I find to be the most enjoyable place to buy different verity of foods , they have a large selection of gluten free food products, the best fresh vegetables and fruits, a very large selection of organic produce to choose from. Meats without hormones and antibiotics. Bison I love since I dont like beef.Their Wild salmon is the best ever. Lots of people have allergies to certain ingredients .You can actually enjoy food products without eggs, yeast,nuts,etc. and taste good. Can you tell I love my Wegmans....🥀...

We love Wegmans! The prepared foods are perfect for our busy family schedule. Personal favorite is the Garlic Tuscan Bread. We also love the bakery, deli and fresh produce. Quality selection. Always great customer service!
Love shopping at Wegmans! Such a wonderful selection of products in every department. Shelves are always well stocked and the flow of the store makes finding things real easy. Unlike so many other stores, you can always find an assistant to help you with any questions you may have. Store staff are always friendly and its such a pleasure to shop in a store that is well lit, organized and clean!
I love Wegmans!! The produce here is so fresh. Theres an amazing variety of fresh food here. I also like from an ethical standpoint that they work so much with the local food bank. The prices on some items are higher than other locations but generic Wegmans items are comparable in price and often outstanding quality. I never heard of Wegmans before moving to Erie and Im a convert for life now.
Best grocery store ever! Incredibly fair prices, delicious items from their bakery, their produce section is unbeatable, their generic brand is better than the name brands, their fresh food cafe is great - they use Wegman brand products to make subs, pizza, etc. You can buy the ingredients in the store if you like it. Nothing but great things to say about Wegmans stores.
The atmosphere here is great. I love coming here with my wife and buying $15 sushi and high alcohol content malt liquor and becoming belligerent. The soft and warm lighting help me relax while Im coming down.
Wegmans is a clean and well managed store. Everything is competitively priced and Wegmans brand products are high quality. They have a great bakery and produce department. The restaurant is a great place to get high quality and healthy meal. I could easily go on and on but I love Wegmans. I noticed that the detractors of Wegmans never shop there.
Wegmans is you are truly going to try to compete with WHOLE FOODS MARKET , well you had better get started ! Firstly , mostly of all the organic stock is Wegmans brand only ... start here !! Give the customer a choice ! Secondly the store employees need to up their game in customer service ! Getting the wrong info on where’s product is is annoying enough only to be met with hands flying on the air because the customer let the employee know that was wrong info and snapping about finding the product in the correct isle !! And these are just 2 examples there are many many more ! However anyone in this business knows those are pretty big !!! All I can say is don’t go at competing openly until you get you business together !! Sadly I was counting on you guys .... very disappointed !!!!
I have never encountered one grumpy Wegmans employee, and every visit is simply a pleasure. Excellent fresh produce, really knowledgeable meat/seafood department and EVERY cheesemonger is happy to share what they know. Super friendly management too!
This is hands down the best grocery store in Erie. Great prices, great quality. Only complaint is that they recently rearranged the store and the shopping trip doesnt seem to flow like it used to. Maybe it will be better once I get used to the new layout.
This is a very big store with great selections of different brands on the various items. I had some of the various burgers-Turkey, salmon and beef along with an assortment of seasonal vegetables for on the grillThe staff was pleasant and helpful. I will definitely go back.

I love the supermarket. I love the fact that they have many options for people with food allergies and cultural preferences. their food bar is nice and has a great variety but this past time I brought my food home and I found a hair that did not belong to me in my tray. So lets just say that one went straight to the garbage.
This is the BEST grocery store ever. Everything is fresh, appealingly presented and so clean! The best part? There are actually employees everywhere that smile and are unfailingly helpful. They not only have groceries but all kinds of other interesting things!
Great prices! Tons of selections! This was our first trip to Wegmans on peach Street in Erie PA. Were new to Erie and Wegmans for that matter. We were blown away by the prices of their meats and many other products. Their Wegmans brand is very cost effective and tastes great! Highly recommend this store for your groceries and other items!
Excellent place to shop for food in Erie! Their food is Excellent. Much of it is made on there! Large quantities of fresh vegetables and fruits to pick from! Plus much more! Can spend a lot of time there! Look forward to going back every time we visit Erie!
Wegans old fashion sub very good!
Starting in Rochester, spread all over the North East and slowly growing south, Wegmans is the best grocery store in the world. It cant even be considered a grocery store since it is so much more.It is an experience.With the best quality food, international variety, diversity in flavors and the most friendly staff in the world, what more could you ask for?On top of all of that, this Wegmans has a great Beer selection and the fresh food is amazing as well.
Great place. Has most everything at prices that often are better than discount stores like Sams. The employees all seem genuinely happy to be working there. Add in a great Bakery and the Wegmans brand foods and the place creates a great shopping experience.
I loved the place. You can buy here beers and spirits (in an isolated section of the store). The variety and quality of the products is incredible. There are many meals and delicacies almost ready to eat (great for bachelors).

Club-sized packages without a membership fee.Wegmans prides themselves in customer satisfaction. They have umbrellas for customer use near the door when it is raining. You just leave them in the cart when you are done. This store is very clean. I usually stop at Wegmans when in the Erie area. Wegmans doubles manufacturer coupons up to $0.99. Seasonal specials are offered and are of excellent value.A Wegmans loyalty card is required for product discounts but the card is free. This store is busy and you may have to wait in line for 10-15 minutes. This is the main downfall I have found with this store.Highly recommend Wegmans!
This place is great. They have a fantastic produce department. I love the different meat selections. If you cant find something at other grocery stores more than likely you can find it here. The only downside it it being located on upper peach by the mall. The traffic can be crazy. Not great for a quick stop unless your already driving by.
I absolutely love shopping at this store. They have so many wonderful options! I love how friendly the staff is and how fresh the ingredients are. If you are gluten-free, weird about chemicals or pesticides, or love organic options-- this is the place for you!! It can be a little pricey; however, that typically comes with quality. I also know they have a great employment program if you are looking for a job. And yes, they sell alcohol.

Wegmans has a much better selection than the other grocery stores around here. They may be a bit more expensive(not per item, but I spend much more here than elsewhere), but you can get all the same staples as other stores, and you are much more likely to find what youre looking for if you need something that isnt super common.Also, they have a much better atmosphere than any of the other grocery stores around here.
It was absolutely awesome! It was my first time visiting this store and I genuinely wish I knew about it sooner! The store IS massive and has a massive selection of things that considering it having more variety would just be wrong. I definitely recommend going and checking this store out for yourself.

I LOVE WEGMANS. That pretty much sums it up. If you’ve never been to a Wegmans, you are missing out. They’re store brand is pretty on point and I have even found several items that I prefer over the name brand. The only thing I would change would be to have Boars Head meats in the deli section.
This Wegmans was a disaster zone. I realize they are redoing portions of the store, but it could be done in a way that is much more convenient for the customers. It was nearly impossible to get to anything. On the plus side, this is the only store Ive been in recently that every employee was wearing their mask PROPERLY, so yay you on that one

One of the best grocery stores that Ive ever shopped. The place is always so clean, organized, well stocked, and decorated in a way that is inviting and warm. Plus, the staff seem really happy and are always eager to assist. My wife and I love this place.
I was not sure what to expect, but my buddy spoke very highly of this place. When he took me to get some food for our cookout that weekend, I was very impressed by the large selections of food. Although, I think the thing that impressed me more, was that the prices were cheaper or about the same as most other stores. I would not have expected that from a store that appears to be very high end. Wish one would move in near me.
Wegmans is my favorite grocery chain store. The prices are good, the staff are nice and helpful, the selection is great and the produce and prepared food quality is fantastic. The also sell beer at okay prices and with a great selection of craftbrews in bottles. This location is just as perfect as any other Wegmans location.
They have a practical and safe infection control policy in place which helps people remain healthy. However, they have removed digital coupons that save the consumer money and product prices have increased significantly, especially beef. I imagine they would make the argument that beef prices have risen from their vendor due to COVID-19 issues. If this is true then understandable but I hope they have taken measures to seek out local farmers to potentially lower meat prices.

What can I say? If you have some time to kill and money to spend theres far better places to go then Wegmans. However, you wont find more variety and obscure items than at Wegmans. I love wandering the aisles, dreaming of what my life would be if only I could afford to do all my grocery shopping at Wegmans in Erie. Its always clean and the staff is always helpful and beautiful. Definitely worth the trip!
I come every week from Ashtabula. I always grab a slice of Wegmans pizza after buying my Fruits, vegetables and meats. Only place that sells coconut donuts....my Favorite!
Fantastic experience when you shop here the staff are always smiling and willing to assist you out, the prices are very good on everyday items and they always have wonderful selection of unusual items especially the fruits and veggies. I love the flowers coming into the parking area it makes me smile seeing how nice they always keep things. I cannot say more it is more than grocery shopping being a drudgery it is an experience. Were from out of town and this was our first time at a Wegmans. It was like a fancier version of our grocery store back home, giant eagle. Prices werent too bad either. Only issue (which brought my review to 3 stars) I really saw was some people without masks. And some employees were wearing their masks incorrectly (not covering nose) or just a face shield. Face shields will protect the wearer from coughs and spit from other people but do nothing to protect the customers from them possibly being sick nor will they stop the spread of covid via breathing. Either use both a mask and shield together or just a mask, thank you.
I appreciate everything about Wegmans. The prepared food is constantly a lifesaver for my family. I also love the beer/wine selection and convenience. The pharmacy is also great to work with. I happily drive by Giant Eagle to drive another 10 miles to go to Wegmans.
Good regular prices.... You dont have to deal with hundreds of sale prices and not having your savings card! Its always extremely busy on the weekends but they always have enough checkout lanes. They have excellent cakes but we really miss the cheese bread... And the pepperoni cheese, too!
Huge selection of produce both organic and non. Great natural foods selection with lots of gluten free and vegan options. Good prices on vegan products, which usually cost significantly more than their meaty counterparts.

Amazing made to order subs, lunch/dinner buffet is the best, and the sushi is top notch. Tea selection of my dreams. I love all the ethnic/international sauces, spices, and products. Dont live in the area anymore, but stock up when Im in town! Clean, helpful staff, best selection anywhere.
Wegmans has always been a class act.During the Pandemic I truly believe they did their best to protect their employees and customers while still providing 5 Star service. Kudos to all who work there. Psst....their aged cheese blocks are a little overpriced.
Wegmans is a beautiful store. Great produce..cheese dept..seafood pretty good. It appears that each year Wegmans remove brand name groceries that makes their customers have to go to other markets like Giant Eagle to buy their favorite brands.

Wonderful store! Its a little more expensive than your average grocery store, but they have good store brand products that are fairly priced. One stop to find reasonably priced products and specialty items. Clean and easy to navigate.
Its Wegmans. That statement is the review in itself. The chain is exemplary, but this location is always so festive and well stocked. In fact, theyre to well stocked. I can never leave this place without spending far more than I planned to spend. They have so much to choose from. I love the organic, green earth-friendly, and holistic health options here as well as the international selections. The cheese market is a standout, and their bakery is amazing.

Wegmans is The place to go for any variety of tastes to explore. They have a great deli department and I often stop just for a Dannys favorite sub from the sub shop. I dont find the prices much out of line either.
Its Wegmans...I mean its always good...and its great that there is a Wegmans in another state...as soon as you walk in if you are from Rochester, NY area you feel at home... great thing about this Wegmans, for a central NY resident, it sells wine and liquor... amazing selection of food... great produce... great sub shop...the best there is in my opinion...not many sub shops or sub counters that offer whole wheat rolls... cant beat it...
Fantastic! Everything is fresh, always. Purchased produce lasts a long time, meats are great quality and a lot of unique custom goodies. Special dieters will find organic choices and plenty of international items. Guys: Download their app and it will tell you where all the stuff your wife told you to buy is located! When you charge a premium price, you need a premium product. Although I like Wegmans, they seem to be offering less product for more money. Selection is good. Service is good although tonight there were lines 4 to 5 carts long. I think Walmart does better than that.
The best grocery store in Erie. All the employees are always cheerful and helpful. They have a great produce selection. The subs in particular are delicious, but the hot bar is very good as well. They also have of of the better cheese selections in Erie. Wegmans brand item are priced well and good quality.

When traveling we always pick up what we need from Wegmans. Anything you could ever want in a grocery store. They carry everything for the aspiring chef as well as the everyday cook. Always happy to go to Wegmans. So glad there is one a mile from my house.

2022-04-18I’m not local to this store, so this is a place I never shop at. I haven’t been at this location in ages so I wanted to stop while I was in the area and get thankful produce. The prices here remind me of pricing you’d find at Whole Foods, so it’s not inexpensive. I shopped sparingly since the pricing was more than what I’m used to at Aldi or other local grocers. They had a wide variety of premade items, valeting items, and all other goods. I found it easy to find things I wanted to try out that I don’t normally see. We spent an hour in the store and didn’t even make it through the whole store. It was clean and the store had a friendly environment. I did buy a few things that were overpriced for what I’d usually pay, but I wanted to let my children pick out things they would eat and that were healthy.I would definitely come back. I think my favorite part of the experience was the pregnant moms/parent of young children parking spots. I had my 3 week old with me and the weather is still cold so the time he spent in the cold weather was minimal thanks to this!

2022-06-26The variety of things to buy was amazing! I loved the assortment of fresh foods, especially the meats and specialty deli items. We even had fun looking for foods that had never been able to find before and surprisingly enough, we found quite a of of them. Also. $5 sunflower! Yes, please! The cashier was very friendly and kind she made the end of an already amazing experience even better. We will definitely be back again soon!

2022-05-07Wegmans is just going downhill with check out yourself and consistently long lines because of inadequate staffing, or poor management. This is a consistent problem that doesn’t seem to get any better. You’d expect more from a place like Wegmans, guess we were wrong. If this continues there’s no reason to pick Wegmans over other grocery stores

2022-05-02I am generally pretty excited to go to Wegmans. They have a decent selection of goods that have a strong value and appeal, until recently. I rely heavily on them for produce and in my last several visits all of the produce I have bought and its hard to fool my eye as I am a chef has been moldy and foul. Its a shame to see this happen at the best store in Erie for groceries. Fix your produce and you will get my five stars back

2022-02-15Wegmans is an adventure. When we come back to. Buffalo we always stop. Always find something. The hot/ salad bar is awesome but this location did not have it in Erie PA. We forgot to stop but we’re able to find this one in Erie on our way back to OH.
