Absolutely atrocious experience at the Tilghman square Wendy’s. The employee Mike was helping me at the drive through tonight and struggled to take my basic order. He then proceeded to say “cancel it” when I got to the window, swiped my card for the wrong amount, refused to refund it, and got the entire order wrong. I have never been so disrespected, and with no reason presented. I sincerely hope they remove toxic employees that take out there own insecurities on their customers.
So where do I start. I was the only one in the drive thru and was told to wait 5 mins before I could even order. I placed my order and asked for a sprite with my meal. As I grab the food and soda I notice the soda is dark. I say I asked for a sprite and get told no you didnt just to have the window closed on me and the person walked away. Also the burger was rubbery like a flipflop and the fries were chrispy and good till I found a hair in them.... So long story short avoid this location and go to burger King or McDonalds.
Not the nicest Wendys. Server was not happy to be there at all. Hard to get any help when missing items. Was missing a drink and she didnt want to help. After leaving didnt get all our order right but wasnt worth going back. Like Wendys normally but wont be coming back to this one
Ordered using the app which was extremely easy and saved $2. The restaurant is very clean and the service was fast, even though they were busy. My awesome bacon cheeseburger wasnt me correctly. The manager apologized and made me a new burger plus a complimentary large fry.
I was really hungry by the time I got home I was very disappointed tiny little well done burgers ordered it with only cheese and ketchup and it came with lettuce and tomatoes fries were covered in salt I can barely eat them but the coke was good I guess thats what happens when you go an hour before closing time I wont return
I dont understand the point of this place even being there if everytime I go the systems down or something. 3 times in past month Ive gone and all employees are outside smoking and they refuse to take my order. Management or the owner should really check on the employees
I find it absolutely ridiculous that you have the capability for online ordering, yet you still have to wait in the drive-thru line just to receive your order. The drive-thru line is currently wrapped around the building. Most breaks are half an hour long so at this point I wasted money because my food will be cold by the time I even get to eat it!
The food was good. The service not so much. Waited in drive-through line for 25 minutes. I asked for ketchup and they forgot, so when I asked again the cashier gave me the look like I was the one being extra. This place ALWAYS has a long line no matter what time you go past it. This has been this way long before covid happen and the worker shortage happen.
Hours of the lobby listed in the app are incorrect. I selected pickup inside and was unable to get my food. The drive thru line was wrapped around the building. I had to return to work without my food. I tried to contact support later in the app and found out you can only contact them between 8am-4pm. I tried the following day and received no response via text. I tried calling and was on hold for an hour and there was supposedly only 4 people ahead of me. Again I had to hang up without getting through to anyone.
I had a Dr appointment in Wilkes-Barre last Wednesday. I was so famished when I got out of the doctors. Everyone knows I am not good with directions. But a kind soul directing me to your McDonalds!!!! I came through the drive-thru and my order was a double cheeseburger with everything I had a small fries and a small Coke. I I just couldnt believe how fresh it was, nice and big instead of a one beef all nteat.. the sandwich was excellent it looks like the commercials.SHOP NOW the won they shows on TV. Very impressive and very delicious!!!!! , I would drive up there again from Hazleton to get a McDonalds double cheeseburger. On TVAnd most likely I will in a few weeks Ill be coming back. I will see you then... thank you for your service and the server who helped make my ordering experience easy. Thank you for a wonderful life lunch!!
Terrible at the drive through. Waited over 30 minutes, and was still 3 cars behind the one giving its order when I left, and its only a Monday night. Slowest service Ive ever seen. Looked like they would do 1 order at a time, and complete it before even taking the next order. Moved on to another fast food facility where the service was 50 Xs faster.
I am a fan of Wendys food but Dave Thomas would not be happy with this location. The service is horrible but I blame management - not the staff. The staff is poorly trained and have little to no customer service skills. Simply put they are frequently rude. This location was great 5 years ago but has gone through a steady decline in the last few years. I have finally given up on this location and if I am craving Wendys food, I will drive to Cedar Crest to get it there. The Cedar Crest location is newer, cleaner and better managed. This is probably an issue with the local franchise owner - but it is clearly a problem that Wendys corporate should be dealing with.
Spent 20 minutes in the drive thru. Finally decided it was not worth it. None of the 5 cats in front of me moved during that time.Slow service, cant work on more than 1 order at a time. Cause that is all that was at the window when I pulled out and left along with 3 cars in front and in back of me
When I went it was busy. When I was about to order one of the staff asked for me to give them a second. I said ok. I ended up waiting a few minutes. When I finally ordered and got my food, my fries were cold and tasted like they wasnt cooked all the way. Everything else was fine.
I have been to many Wendys and its my favorite fast food BUT this brand new Wendys is terrible. Burgers are different, smaller les tasty and just a rude experience. The lines were long to get in when it open. Now not so many now since many have experience the same as me. Back to burger king or just wait till the Chicks Fily opens soon.
Asked for a plain burger with only bacon and ketchup they put cheese I told them again in cheese and ketchup they rudely said to next time just tell them no cheese then continues to slam the window in my face I asked for extra salt on my fries and they just threw salt packets all in the bag would never go back again
So I usually eat the spicy chicken sandwich Because Im doing taste test thing For my own personal. So imagine my pissdevotees when I bit into my sandwich and it wasnt spicy I didnt take it back I dont return foods You know what I mean So I give them my personal best Ive eaten there before in the experience was good Better luck next time
If you do not like your job or don’t wanna be there then leave . Drive through lady was real disrespectful with eye rolling when I asked for a sauce . Wendy needs to do a better job of hiring people.. drive through lady should have been on fries instead she won’t have to deal with customers
This Wendys is pretty good. Nice and clean. Im amazed at how fast the drive in window traffic moves. Thats this places best feature. The food is served up well most of the time. However Ive had over cooked burgers and the bun and toppings that looked liked they got run over by truck in parking lot. Most of the time though the food is fine as im sure Wendys expects it to be.
The food they give u is made well and tastes great, staff is friendly, place is clean.Now the bad for me. I work close by so i would stop in once in awhile. Most likely not gonna happen again. They just dont get my order correct. Idk if its because we have to wear masks or what? But a Baconator without bacon is a...... ator? Tell them no onions, has onions. Got the 4 for 4, burger had cheese, im lactose intolerant. Had to give it to a coworker. Chicken sandwich no lettuce, had lettuce.....only part of the order they got right was the chicken nuggets.Overall not a bad place,but the last 3 times my order wasnt correct which has led to frustration on my end. Wont be going back until we dont need to wear masks. I recommend checking your order before leaving for accuracy. Otherwise good food, friendly staff, clean lobby.
It was verry clean. Staff was also verey helpful and respectful. Food was hot and was prepaired fast and timly. The wait in line was quick. And the food was top quality. One of the best fast food restaurant s ive visited in a long time. They did not have a playground so it was not very family oriented. But all on all it was a great visit
Ive never had a problem at this location before but if a restaurant says theyre open until 10:30 for breakfast and at 10:20 you pulled into their very, very long drive-thru line and are told theyre no longer serving breakfast, even though theres still 10 minutes left on the breakfast menu, youd probably be irate, too.I know these places are run by a bunch of high school kids who barely get paid minimum wage but gimme a break.
Terrible!!! We had to wait for our nuggets mean while the rest of our food got cold and soggy....was missing a medium fry had to go back around and wait than we were missing nuggets we ordered a 10 peice got 6 smh...wont come to this location agian .....worst experienceUpdate!!! Nuggets were found ! Still wont come back ...
When I first walked in I thought I was lost . They just remodeled and it looks real nice now. They added a second soda machine which is great . There was always a wait with just the one. Now unfortunately the speed of service did not improve with the rest of the store . The girl on register and the girl making sandwiches were both clearly chewing gum .
Tho the food was good, i was here today 4/18/20 getting food from drive through. Tho it was close to closing, and i can understand the frustration of trying to close but theres people ordering food (i work at a fast food place as well) the service was extreemly poor. When i had recived my food i had tried to ask for a straw fron the young lady with long black/brown hair, they closed the window and walked away. I sat there for a minute but she didnt come bac . Then as i got home to eat my food, i had only had 8 nuggets in my 10 piece i had orderd. So tho i love the food, the service was horrible and i am extreemly dissapointed. Ive been here with better service than this. I expected the same when i go there every time.
Not sure what ladys problem was at the drive through today (septum piercing) but she had a serious attitude. I ordered a honey chicken sandwich and asked to add cheese. I didnt open the sandwich until half way to work and it didnt have honey nor any cheese that i asked for. Wasnt given a receipt (used a debit card) so i cant even see if i was actually charged for the cheese that i didnt get. Not to mention when she handed me the bag of food (of course i saidthank you) but she just handed me my order and thatwas it. No thank you ypir welcome have a good day..nothing. You can tell she was miserable by her tone of voice in the drive through speaker. Wont come to this location anymore.
The counter girl was rude, very rude, tge food was cold and the French fries were horrible and ice cold, I live 3 minutes away so the food should not have been cold. Again the worse part the rudeness and unfriendliness of the counter girl. Wont be back to that Wendys.
The last few times this place is so nasty. Garbage cans full to the top. Majority of the soda mix in the freestyles were empty. The ketchup was empty. These people are so lazy that they cant take a few minutes to do trash and refill the freestyles. I blame it more on management then the crew though. I feel management is just there for a paycheck and doesnt care how that place looks. I would pity that place if I was a manager there. Clean house time. They really need to send in s ok me secret shoppers so they can really see how this place is. And when we were here there were only 2 cars in the lot and 1 car in drive thru so things could have gotten done.
The employee named day is very unfriendly, has issues multitasking, looks miserable working, and at this very moment openly bad mouthing other employees. Please get more friendly people here. The food is good, service is fast, but the attitudes here, where are the smile? At least fake it till you make it
Very slow service. It has been consistent lately. I waited for over 10 minutes in drive-thru, with only 2 cars in front of me. And they still messed up my order. It is run with too many young kids who have no work ethic. One was bragging to his friend about how he got ticket for running red light. Ugh.
Flies everywhere, couldn’t even eat inside. My chicken sandwich was soggy. Fries were cold and too salty. Almost all the soda was in out in machines then when I tried telling a manager they did nothing about it. My boyfriend got a potato and it was completely brown and looked horrible. Worst wendys in allentown seriously.
Hands down the worst Wendy’s I have ever been at. Drive thru screen broken, unfriendly staff, and almost always a wait on any chicken product. Out of large cups a lot. Out of ketchup several times in the last two months. I mean the list just goes on and on, I’m so disappointed in my visit almost every time I come here.
My father and i went we order two chicken sandwiches.i ordered mine lettuce only,he just regular they gave him a 1/4 of a tomato slice a tablespoon of mayo and both sandwichs a 1/2 slice of lettuce.the fries were horrible they made chips soft. Just the old fries that were sitting out just heated up nothing more.also finding a clean table no where in sight. All around bad.
Dont understand how this place can be so consistently bad. The woman at the drive through shoves the food in your face, slams the window and yells some sort of thank you have a nice day every time and its super abrubt/rude and robotic. This place is a horror show of inadequacy. Getting your order wrong is their specialty.
After I post this Im going to call the corporate office and Report the girl I bought food and coffee she said the coffee was being brood so I waited and the coffee I couldnt even drink it it was not fresh it was nasty I went up and told her I usually dont do and asked for another cup she said know that it was fresh okay Im going to get her fired
I made a mobile order and when I arrived they gave me the wrong food and seemed completely lost when I told them they gave me the wrong order.The girl asked me what I ordered which was not acceptable because I custom ordered a 4 for 4.TERRIBLE SERVICE AT THIS WENDYSSSS!!!!!!Had to drive farther out of my way and the line was longer at the other wendys.
8:30 at night and they are moping the floor- except they dont mop anymore ! They dump gallons of water and scrub with a scrub brush and then use a loud shop vac to suck it up, while customers are eating as dust and particles comes out of the exhaust and into the air and o to your food!

2022-02-23I waited in line for 20 minutes at this location to order a chicken sandwich. I was told what I wanted wasn’t available any longer so I ended up getting the 4 for $4. I got a chicken sandwich and asked for cheese too. I got home, opened it up, I get a chicken sandwich that has a drop of mayo, a half piece of chicken and rotten pieces of lettuce! They pile lettuce on so it makes it look like they gave you everything! They need better management to make sure the employees check the food before they send it out before someone gets freaking sick. Unbelievable, I’ll never come to this Wendy’s again.

Not as bad as the one in MacArthur Road but on their way to getting there. Given time Im confident they will.Hopefully, robotics and AI will come in and replace this, by the end of the decade. The AI and robotics will give a more human quality and understanding.I cant believe franchisees risk money in these times. As the demographics change in our nation and the world, money will be harder to come by to risk. The cost of money to start a business will rise by a factor of four in the coming years. I hope the franchisees realize that. The boomers are retiring in 2022. Demand will drop off. Boomer investment will be gone, where will that capital deficit come from?Well see you in five years.Let that filter a little.

2021-06-14My family and I have been going there for years and the service and quality has went down hill. The most recent time we were there the manager at the drive thru window was very rude and most unpleasant. We ordered double stack burgers…..pub fries and chicken nuggets for the family and I asked very nicely which I have done many times before with success at most Wendy’s that if they can give me plain liquid cheese in place of the liquid pub cheese since I have an allergy to it and to my surprise was denied by the manager saying it will mess his inventory up but as a professional business man I know that a negative item taken off an item and a positive item added creates an equal in terms of money, maybe a little inventory adjustment but it’s for a good cause also known as the customer who are the one’s that keep a place going through our purchases. I have added some pictures of the food right out the bag and it was as disappointing as the managers service. The burgers were hardened like old meat down a half hour before, the pub fries had a sliver of bacon and a sprinkle of cheese and the nuggets were over cooked as well, not very good quality since there was not anyone else in line at the time. So hopefully they will get better at this fast food restaurant because it’s in a good location. It just needs some finesse in customer service and quality fast food cooking.

2022-05-10The Bacon Jr. Cheeseburger was outstanding! It tasted homemade.The manager was training a new employee and he was a sign of a great manager. Very patient and still extremely efficient!Again, great bacon Jr. Cheeseburger!!!

2022-03-13Usually this Wendy’s is slow but not bad. Today we walked in and there was an employee sitting on the counter, texting, eating nuggets. Turned around, saw us and continued eating. Waited for another person to come out and helped us. The other employee continued doing whatever they were doing the whole time. Tables were dirty, Floors noticeably sticky, and all the condiment dispensers were empty. Food was good though!

2022-04-23Terrible service. The employee at the front clearly did not own up to her own mistakes. Our meal showed ready and there was only one meal finished waiting. When we showed our receipt, this female employee refused to read it and gave us the wrong meal, while still preparing it. Even when someone else came in to claim that meal, which was theirs, the employee still would not let us get our meal. She then badgered her boss instead to come out, who right away gave us the correct meal that had been just sitting there. With all her attitude, terrible service. This is my first time writing a negative review because this service is so bad.

2022-07-01Waited a long time in the drive thru line. I ordered 2 5 for 5 chicken sandwich combos. One with everything & one without lettuce & tomato. Received both with everything and did not get the nuggets. Ordered the 4 for 4 burger without pickles &mustard . I got pickles & mustard on the burger. I never been here. I was at an appt near there from Nazareth & opened my food when I got home. Will never return to this Wendys again. What a waste of time and money!

2022-06-14There was a very slow and long line at lunch time. This is typical of fast food places due to lack of staff. Or perhaps the staff couldnt go any faster. Or other demands, not sure.

2022-05-29The didnt give us straws for our drinks, I wasnt given a spoon for my frosty & not even a single napkin was in the bag. The hot honey sandwich was good though so thats atleast why they didnt get 1 star.
