The staff tends to be on the moody side during the late night hours. the food is always made well. could definitely work in customer service
The floor is usually sticky here, I always feel like the staff is annoyed by my being there and place never seems quite clean.

Slow service. Rude customer service. The employees act as tho youre bothering them by ordering food and theyre rude. Stopped in several times via drive thru and dining room and its the same every time. Went in store to pick up food and there was a girl twerking and had her phone in her hand then just went back to making food. Completely unprofessional and unhygienic. I think Ill find a new Wendys or go back to burger King. Find some new employees.
There was no dining in because of a staff shortage. Food was fine though.

This Wendys is consistently slow, and order quality is very inconsistent. Flat soda, over cooked fries, special orders messed up... Each time I visit there is something not great about the experience. Avoid unless you really want Wendys and dont mind waiting for a probably bad order.
Waited in drive-thru for 27 minutes. Paid, asked for receipt. Was told next window would give it to me. Then waited at the last window for another 9 minutes before we got drinks. Then waited another 6 minutes before we got food. Got home and I was beyond mad bc the order was messed up! Sat all that time and paid for disappointment! And still didnt get a receipt! This particular location has been on a decline. Need to get a manager in there that can turn that place around.
Slow service last visit, cold fries ! Food Quality has reality taken a turn for the worst. Its sad because we really favor Wendys menu items. The Spicy Chicken is the Best! The last few times we ordered it was apparent it wasnt fresh. Dried out and cold! It is the evening shift that lacks , lunchtime is usually on point. I always see a working manager at the drive thru window. Not very often at night. Bunch of young kids that is obvious they could care less about the work ethic or good customer service and quality food control. Quite a few times my order was wrong. Rule of thumb I never leave the property to I check it. It is such an inconvenience to have to drive around to get back in line again ...as the service is always so slow! And wait again!
The people are nice but my order was messed up. Both of our bigge bags had no Nuggets in them. Plus the frys didnt taste fresh.

This Wendy’s location is the worst one to go to. They always lock their door early. Never answer their drive thur and if they do they are super long pauses or say nothing at all. Also this store is always closing early/whenever they feel like it. Don’t waste your time go the Wendy’s near Walmart.
Their $5 box is the most for the money and they have expanded the menu to include more value priced options and deals. The new chicken sandwiches are really good, also.
December 22nd 2021I went through the drive thru & ordered $25 worth of food (some of which was a 50 count party pack of nuggets). Despite ordering an arsenal of food, the dudes working were super fun, friendly, quick & a pleasure to interact with. Unfortunately, they werent efficient and forgot my large chili. Its okay, I went back today & they were super cool about giving me one.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Original review one year ago:I went late at night before closing and asked for a 20 piece spicy nug. They said they only had enough for a 10 piece. Okay, ill take it, no worries. They told me they threw in 10 plus leftover nugs... I think I got 15. Winning. Thanks wendys & nice employees for hooking me up.
Great customer service! This place is always busy, so when they mixed up my order and gave me cheesefries instead of the jalapeno burger, I wasnt too shocked. However, I was pleasantly surprised at the fast and courteous customer service I received when I called back. The employee remembered my order, apologized ten times and even ran it out to my car so I didnt have to wait in the long drive thru line again!Btw, the Jalapeno Burger was amazing!!!
This restaurant was under staffed , busy and being run by a rude and overwhelmed manager. They shorted me a jr bacon cheeseburger and I went in let know. Dont know if it was missed or entered wrongly, was going just re-order one. She basically was telling anyone at the counter that the Gruhub and phone orders were priority, was going to take any new orders .In fact there was a few orders probably going to be canceled because of the service delays.She didnt want to hear anything.
Always have trouble with this store. Get attitude everytime we order the family size nuggets because they have to make so many. Dont offer a product and then proceed to complain about serving it. I have a large family!
The gentleman taking my order was very unpleasant. I heard people ahead of me say the same thing. A simple task but he couldnt even give me my total or confirm my order. Grunted at me when I paid. The gentleman who handed me my food was very polite and courteous. Gentleman number 1.... take notes.

The last handful of times Ive ordered here, the order has been wrong. Its really gone downhill in terms of attentive employees and good service.
Took my parents for lunch at wendys after their doctor appointments & the staff was very pleasant & helpful. My parents love their spicy chicken sandwiches & frostys. Our only complaint was the loud music that they have playing. Its not conducive to having any conversations.
I would give it one star, but I gave it 2 because the people inside are actually really nice. With that though, they are somewhat inconsistent. Some days theyre very friendly and courteous, even giving you extra food or drinks for free. However, when they are having a bad day, they do not hide it, and may offer bad service because of it.For years, this has been the dirtiest Wendys Ive ever been to. Theres always flies everywhere. The floors always feel greasy and is littered (particularly behind the counter). Ive had friends that worked there that claimed that they failed inspections multiple times. It is just very unclean...
Of the 2 Wendys in the area, this one seems to be the most efficient and fastest. My orders are always correct, and they have everything on the menu available to order. They have a good manager. The staff is friendly.
Was just there 5 min ago. The lady at the window so nice and friendly to me and my dog. The reason Im giving them 2 stars is cause I ordered a breakfast baconator and the stiffed me on the sausage.Edit: just spoke to the manager and turns out they gave me the wrong order. She said next time I come through just give them my name and my order will be comped. Great staff. Still a little annoyed.

5 stars for staff. Really nice ... but you wait forever in the drive thru. They need to hire more people to reduce wait time and for the love of God hire a cleaning service. This Wendy’s is in a great location, please improve the cleanliness so my family can enjoy again.
My least favorite thing is when most of my French fries are completely soggy and the rest of them are like biting into a rock!!!!! The bacon on my sandwich would have been better off as tree bark!!! Overall not my best experience at a Wendys.
My friend and I ate here several days ago and though the food was fine the restaurant had an off-putting smell. Not sure what it was, perhaps dirty mop or something, but I couldnt wait to finish my meal and leave! Also the floor and table felt sticky. The place needed a good cleaning! Dont know what the kitchen looks like. I live nearby and eventually will want to go back, but unless they clean it up, not sure I will.

Not to sound paranoid, but with the covid situation I would expect a little more from a food establishment. I was at this location 7/24 ordered my food only to see a person in the prep area with no mask on and coughing, when i said something to the cashier about this she just laughed and took the next order. Needless to say i ended up throwing my food away!!!
I will never go back to this wendys. They literally mess up our order EVERY time we visit. The staff constantly looks confused and overwhelmed. I was waiting 15 minutes for my order today. They completely forgot one of my sandwiches, forgot to put sauce on one of our burgers and then forgot to secure they lid on my salad so it dumped into the trash when they picked it up. While I was waiting for them to remake my salad and my missing sandwich, another customer came to the counter. They had literally put a plastic bag tie in the middle of his sandwich. Disgusting and inexcusable!
Mismanagement at its finest. Too much to go into detail. You would make more money as a circus, than a fast food place. Charge for the entertaining flurry of confusion in the drive through. Clowns!
Ordered a 4 for 4 with a double stack, spicy nuggets & the jalapeño fries. Asked for just mayo and ketchup on the double stack but I got it with everything on it. Spicy nuggets were cold and nasty. Was told that we had a long wait because the fries were being made fresh but the fries were cold. 2 stars cuz the staff was nice
The food was fine, but at least one of the workers preparing food had her mask covering just her mouth. Thats not the way they need to be worn, especially food handlers. I will not go back to this Wendys.
I stopped in here about once a week now for the last few months. Food is always fresh, line moves very efficiently, and the employees are very polite.
10:30 Morning Drive thru is horrible the associates is so slow they cant keep the customers in line to order also screwing up orders after repeating numerous of times of what you wanted.
Come to this location from time to time when I am in town - usually twice a year - and the people there are always nice and the food is of good quality. Wish their full salads wraps and other value offers would come back however
This Wendys is by far the worst Ive ever seen. These poor employees have no food to make they are running out of everything they sell. Employees are very nice but I feel bad for them.
25 minute wait in the drive thru. This was on my second time. The first try my wait was so long I just pulled out to do laundry and same back. They really have staffing issues on Friday nights. Why have the drive thru open if youre understaffed??? If it wasnt for them spicy nuggets I wouldnt have waited. But... Thats my last visit to that location.
I waited in the drive thru line for 30 plus minutes to find out they were out of chocolate frostys. Super frustrating! I go ahead and place my order anyways. All it was, was two 4 piece nuggets and two crispy chicken sandwiches with no lettuce. He tells me to pull around to the first window. At the window he asks me what my order was again! Then he asked me a third time about the crispy chicken sandwiches. The only plus was they got my order right.
Had missing items for the 2nd time in a row. Contacted wendys about the 1st order being wrong and they offered give a refund and offer us another free meal. The 2nd order came wrong and they definitely didnt honor the email saying that they where going to give us the meal for free. Im not upset about paying for the meals at all im upset at the Pottstown staff and the lack of care when customers are missing items. Personally i wont be going back to this location.
Was a poor store environment, there were people hanging around the counter and chatting with the associates, store was dirty and counter help was as well. was my first time in a Wendys in a year after a similar experience. love the food, but hate the restaurant. theres another one on the other side of the town thats much better.
Indisbelief what I just experienced. After waiting for a few minutes with no response I noticed the ordering monitor was broken,I pulled up thinking I had to place my order at the window and approached by the most disrespectful manager I have ever encountered. I couldn’t believe he held a manager position. Great example for Your to employees to witness,the employees was very apologetic and professional. No one should have to be treated that way,just for not waiting at a broken monitor.
Showed up on a tuesday evening at 7:45pm waited in line at the drive thru for about 10mins to place my order, after I placed my order I sat there for almost another 10mins. Then when I got my order the drink was wrong an I had ordered a large meal to which that didnt come out right.
Love Wendys! The new jalapeno bacon burger is way better than I was expecting. Spicy, obviously, but the combo goes together so well. And whats not to like about a Frosty? A little messy behind the counter, but have seen much worse in the Pottstown area. Sitting area is much, much nicer...very clean.

Drive-thru is less than to be desired. Sat in line behind 2 cars for 15 minutes. When I finally got up to order it took another few minutes. I was one of three drivers that pulled out from waiting so long. Just went to McDonalds instead. I live 5 minutes away and have already been in my car for 28 minutes.
Ordered on the app, waited over 1/2 hour in the drive thru to get my food. App offered pick up inside but DOOR WAS LOCKED.

Manager very rude and disrespectful. I had to go inside because I did not get a recipe and I was missing a large fry. The manager found my receipt and sat it on the counter, didnt even give it to me. The cashier brought it to me. Then the manager said just give her what shes missing, I dont feel like arguing!!! I would have PAID FOR MY FRIES!!
Waited 30 minutes at the drive thru and got some dry chicken sandwiches that were like room temperature. The lady tells me that theres not enough workers because scheduling is horrible. It must be real difficult to run a wendys. All i get it 1.29 chicken sandwiches and its a crapshoot whether or not it will be heated up. Congrats👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Ok, this was my first time. I was 20 minutes til closing time... We walked in on a very wet soapy floor. They served me finger warm food that they re- cooked a fresh new meal.( Chicken Sandwich) for 99 cents. So I was not real pleased with this... But, we got our food and headed back on the Ice Roadway to Philly. And we got home safe... Thanks
This Wendys is so bad. There is always an issue, you wait at least 15 minutes not matter how slow it is, and the staff just isnt nice. Such a shame because they do have one of the better menus in the area.
This place stinks. Not the food, the food is fine. But this location smells really bad for some reason. It has to be the cleaning supplies they are using on the floor. Their mop water is probably rancid. The entire store has stunk for weeks. Every time I go here I eat outside. Thats the only way to enjoy the food.
Great customer service. The Drive Thru was a lot of fun. The cashier had a sense of humor. Now the shakes, even though noy the 32 oz still blow Burger King and Wal-Mart out of the water.

The location on Shoemaker Rd is so much better. The food at this location for some reason doesnt taste as good. Went there an hour ago and they messed up my order, gave me watered down nasty sweetened iced tea, didnt put the sauces in the bags for my childrens kids meals.
Well, after being specific about what I wanted on my fish sandwich, there was nothing I asked for!! I also see you give what you call a buttery spread now for the baked potatoes...why cant you just serve plain BUTTER and regular sour cream instead of LIGHT?? The light has a grainy texture instead of smooth the way sour cream is supposed to be. And, while Im on a roll, Ill never know whose mouth fits your awful shaped spoons!? The new black ones are no better than the original ones! Thank God for McDonalds, I always get an extra spoon to keep in my car so when I get a Frosty at your place, Im able to eat it with a McDs perfectly shaped spoon!!
Hit or miss. Food is usually okay for fast food but, they have an occasional tendency to mess up my order in the drive thru.

Outdated and run down building - place desperately needs the remodel project. Very frustrated by the service at the counter - they seem to always put undue priority on the drive through, so prepare yourself for long wait times. They do have the Coke Freestyle machine though, so thats a plus.
Food is fast and hot. Customer service was excellent. I ordered a biggie bag and it came within minutes and everything was freshly made. The person at the counter explained everything excellently and Tony understanding
The french fries were nasty. They looked like they were 3 hours old. Soft and mushy yet somehow also burnt. I was in too much of a hurry to take them inside.
Me and my wife were at wendys today and just because of my wifes german accent they couldnt understand her when my wife placed our order and they asked us to drive up to the first window to make her order and I was very very very angry with the service in tht place very unfriendly workers and mangers too i dont not recommend anyone to go to the wendys on high across from the hospital

Soon as we walked in smelled god awful- absolute worst smell- not great service took over 20 mins to get a burger and fries. Not worth even trying tbh . Go other places - they need to clean it- the kitchen looked gross and the rugs reeked

It was Midnight. No one answered the drive up window. I even called no one answered. I checked on line to see they were open till 1:00am.???? Waited, and waited. Finally drove past drive up window. An employee was smoking a cigerette. I asked if anyone was taking orders. Whoever he checked with inside obviously had others issues and there was no urgency for customer service. So I went elsewhere.

I really do love Wendys, the Baconator is one of my favorite sandwiches, this particular location is located on High Street in Pottstown. Its not the best area but the staff are friendly and most importantly the location is clean and well-maintained. I would recommend this location to a friend, or a Taurus looking for a quick fast food by while visiting Pottstown Pennsylvania.
During covid times it was definitely a little slow getting my order ready but friendly customer service.

This is consistently the worst Wendys I have ever been to. The uncaring staff consistently screws up just about every order that Ive received. Wendys corporate should shutter this blemish.
We special order burgers and in most visits they get our order wrong. We have to check each order before leaving and find its just best to go inside to order take out so we can check the order.
Often seems under staffed. For example, you rarely pay at the cashiers window because noone is there, you have to move forward and pay at the food window.
I sat in the drive thru line for 30 minutes when I had finally got to the window and got my food something smelt like it was burning only to notice my chicken nuggets where completely burnt and my fries where cold

Drive thru is slow and not the best service.
They really were busy but they worked together with the manager leading them good job done.
Hamburgers are SO Much better than McDonalds!!!

2021-08-14This location has gone down hill. One, they don’t give receipts. My husband went their Monday night around 9:10pm. One of the chicken sandwich’s was raw! Took a bite and spit it out right away. It even smelled so bad! Everything we got was old and must have been just sitting there. It’s a shame that they think it’s okay to serve people this type of food. We threw everything out because it was such a disappointment.

2022-06-30Don’t do Wendy’s for breakfast. Horrible. Not sure if it’s the location or just normal Wendy’s breakfast but it was bad. Ordered a sausage, egg and cheese. Was charged extra for the cheese when everyone else includes it, the picture showed scrambled egg, they gave me over easy, the sausage was like chewing on a rubber dog toy and the biscuit was stale. At least it wasn’t warm. Ugh. Waster of over 4 dollar. Now I know why Wendy’s hasn’t done breakfast. They need to stop again. The two stars was only because of the pre packaged orange juice.

2022-07-04This place could possibly be the worst fast food restaurant in the world. Manager is always complaining. Its dirty. I saw 3 different employees attempt to throw trash in the garbage and miss and just leave it on the floor. After 10 minutes the only thing I had was a cup (for soda). They waited until our sandwiches were done to drop chicken nuggets. Not worth stopping here. Drive 10 minutes to another Wendys.

2022-02-08Waited for a long time. When I finally got to the window the girl was very rude said nothing but the price and shut the window right away.Didnt apologize for the wait. Neither at the next window where I waited some more. Waited probably 15 minutes in line .Poor service for sure. Not pleased. FAST FOOD HUH!

2022-03-18Wow. The manager was so incredibly rude. I didnt want to give wendys my business. I watched her backtalk two elderly people in a row. This woman does not need to be in the food service industry and she should be removed immediately. Disgusted
