Considering the location, the park itself is still a pretty nice place to walk a dog or get away from the concrete and breath some fresher air for a minute . Definitely not the kinda place to go outta your way for and if your not familiar with the inner city or lack street smarts you might want to avoid all together..

Great park. Lovely to take the kids, maybe a nice walk through the woods with your man.. they renovated the park so its newly set up. They even put in new sprinklers and now instead of having two play areas all the kids hand out in one area which I personally like.
The playground is new and the children & parents enjoy it. Dogs love going there to walk,play etc. Regular activities during the day being conducted at the park.Hard working cleaners that keep it clean

Great local family park! Lined with lots of trees and is mostly baby stroller approved. The trees provide shade and make the park that more enjoyable.
Its an awesome park! It can be a little crowed sometimes but, its an overall great place to exercise and bring your kids along to!! You can walk the paths and your kids can play on the swings and slides.
A beautiful park. It looks amazing and the trail is beautiful. I gave it a 4 due to the field conditions. I was there today for a game and the outfoutfieldson a hill. This made it a bit unstable. Other than baseball it seems like an amazing place to kick back
Its a gorgeous park with plenty of space, and its quiet most of the time. There are also basketball and tennis courts. I recently learned we have rare trees in this park as well. The place needs some fresh paint and done lighting for when it gets dark out.
When I visit NE Philadelphia I always frequent Wissinoming park.
When I come here there is no bathroom.
Its ok theres a park for the kids with a jungle gym and a water park but its small there is a basketball court, soccer field, and a couple baseball fields. There is plenty of picnic tables and room to cookout, but u have to bring your own grill. There is also restrooms avaible. There is a big field as well and a tennis court.
Nice park with basketball courts, tennis courts, and baseball fields. It is a 1 mile walk around the outside of park and several trails inside park. You just have to keep your eyes open to special surprises left by dog walkers.
Park is clean well kept & a beautiful playground for children or walking your pets on other side of park. also has barbeque pits & picnic tables. great basketball courts, baseball field & Football
Place is always too packed. The time runs out super quick you and you end up spending the same amount as a full service car wash. I spent 7$ and when I finished my car was still dirty. The soap is way too foamy with no water in it. The brushes really doesnt clean well and it scratched my car as well.
The park was very nice and one I would consider frequenting more often when in Philadelphia if it were not for one huge deterrent. The park was filled with many young children and adults with no consideration of this fact filled the park with marijuana smoke. Sadly there was zero consideration for the children or adults who do not partake in this activity.
Nice park in a quiet neighborhood. Its larger than it looks and has a soccer field, several baseball fields, open spaces for dogs to run around, and a childrens play area complete with a splash pad.
Great place to do some fitness training. basketball court, fields are in great condition, kid friendly and dog friendly. tennis court needs work, but a good flat ground for skateboarding since it doesnt get any attention. also good for flat ground work outs.

Good place to walk around for exercise. Right now, they are doing a refresh project. The playground and basketball courts are still playable for now.
Its ok they r Doing a lot of construction to make it better. There is a small water park and a play ground for the kids and a basketball court and a soccer field.
Nice big Park Park have been going to since I was a kid always enjoyed myself over there really nice Hills to go as sledding when it snows shame they have the football and soccer Court torn up right now cant wait until they get everything done so we can go back and enjoy a nice day at the park

Very nice environment very clean so far positive kids positive people the community at the park everything is new the benches my grandson loves it they also have the water part when it gets too hot the sprinklers its a great work I love it
My family and I enjoy Wissinoming, my kid attend art camp there have for years. It is only disheartening to see how trashy it has become over the past couple of years. Literally, although the staff do a great job people just dump their trash anywhere and it appears that occasionally homeless people have taken to camping there.
Have been coming to this park for years and now I take my daughter. Sadly after the makeover, they combined the big kid side and the toddler side, which seem to put some parents on edge when watching their kids play.
Nice park tp take your children and peys very clean . they have a tennis court basketball baseball amd swings and slides for younget kids.nice place to relax and think

I loved taking my pitbull on walks here n i know he loved it but i never went alone at night bc alot of ppl get robbed in there and its just kinda creepy especially when ur by urself l. Definitely need to put in alot more lights bc its way too dark at night
Playground is very nice and new, appropriate. Havent seen anyone violate the park or children with smoking so thats a plus so far rest of park needs severe maintenance
Amazing place, very historical, and the beauty of the park is fantastic. I do have suggestions to better the place including more trees and plants and introducing more wildlife into this majestic park.
Basketball courts, a few baseball fields, jungle gym for kids, a paved trail through the park, complete with benches. Paved bridges over any difficult areas to walk over. Dog friendly, has a full football field, and a really cool hill that gets plenty use during the winter time. Park is kept clean regularly, grass is never over run, trash is picked up promptly. Several bus stops on the Frankford avenue side.Plenty of trees, open spaces for everything, all confined to one large block.Surrounded by houses on two sides, and cemeteries on the other sides. Even includes a cemetery in full view from the playground area.
Very clean and new. The water fontain park is great on a hot day. Theres lots of climbing for the kids and plenty of parking too.
The park in the neighborhood next to where I grew up. They did an awesome job renovating it, and making it look more modern. A good place for a walk, for yourself, and your dogs.
Park is nice.Neighborhood is getting crappy. Be more careful than normal,and especially watch the kids. Dont leave the car open or your stuff unattended.
I like it here but the bike trails are not good for my sons scooter. The atmosphere is calm around d 5:30pm.
The park was nice but when my family had cookout there, the old lady staff with the red hair was very rude to my guest and kept coming over to the cookout. She was the reason I left early.I liked the other staff better.😡

I have a event at this park every year its a new lady work there she is very rude she thinks she can talk to people any kind of way I never had a problem with the other ladies that worked there they was so nice and very helpful they are going to lose a lot of business cause of that ladle it was a another event the same day she was harassing them as well that need to get they old workers back cause that ladie is really annoying
I love having the park so close to the neighborhood. I wish the city would invest more money in programs for the kids though. The day was nice and peaceful.
Empty, like today, its the bees knees. Crowded/normal it drops a star. If ya have young kids, drops down another 2 stars. If they were done with the construction and mud it could be up another star.
I was there to clean a historic mile marker that is located on the corner of Comly St. and Frankford Avenue. I clean historic gravestones and have been in the process of cleaning all of the mile markers to Trenton on the Kings Highway (Frankford Avenue). So far, of the ones that still exist I have done from 5 to 22. Just a little piece of history that many of us drive by without noticing.

I lived right off of Benner street from like 2001-2002. Im from Chicago, born and raised. I will tell you this, before and since Ive never lived anywhere like Philly. I love the entire city. Its so much different then Chicago. The people there food the entire feel and atmosphere is so different and better. I honestly miss you so much city of brotherly love.
I was there cleaning the car. The park looked really great. Last summer it was under construction. Contractors did and amazing job!

I was surprised of how much trees this park had and the nice short trails. Didnt expect this in this area. But a some places was littered and graffiti.

2022-06-03First off I love the renovations that was done to the park itself, but the park was VERY unclean . Trash everywhere in the grass , on the playground. I recommend Kids have to wear shoes in the water play area especially little ones. Barely trash cans

2021-04-17Such a great park that has been part of Philadelphias history since the 19th century. Given the size of this park, it is surprisingly well maintained aside from the one end closer Comly and thats only do to the fact that theres work being done there. The new playground and sprinklers are so nice and the basketball courts are a great place for kids to hang out and shoot hoops. I only wish there was a dog park! (Ive included also awesome photos of the park in its hey day, back when it was part of the Cornelius estate as well as when the Pavillion was there and the pond that was once where the basketball courts are today)

2022-05-10My kids have fun there but these older kids there are disrespectful with there mouth n cursing also people bring these big dogs near the kids like you don’t do that. Today was a bad day this kid brought his dog and kept telling his dog to bite people.

2019-10-09Great park for kids of all ages. Ball fields playground a good sledding hill water sprinklers lots of trees one very special tree it is an Osage Orange tree native to America and very rare in this area. Many pathways to walk your dog along it ride your bike. Plenty of wildlife here for a small park.

2021-12-03Not a trouble park a nice place to hang out, and for you Pokémon go fans it has a gym, it is also the 5 mile marker and is 5 miles from the Delaware River going down Frankford and you can travel all the way to almost Cleveland on Frankford ave, also know as the kings highway

2021-05-25What a nice park. The houses in this neighborhood look very historical. Architectural stone work is a plus. You can find a shady spot. Pull over. Park up. Turn on the a.c. and have a sandwich. Enjoy! Lol
