ZIPS Cleaners in other cities:
Terrible service! A winter coat is completely destroyed. It looks like it was cleaned in a regular washer. All wet inside, all the fluff is crumpled, lots of spots all around. I expected bad service for the price, but ruining the clothes is too much. Never go there!!! Better leave your clothes dirty or buy new right away!
I do not recommend this dry cleaner to anyone. the only thing they know how to do well are regular strong fabric pants not delicate clothes or pants . They damaged my silk blouses, on several occasions I drop off new blouses and they gave them to me discolored, My coat had missing buttons and never seemed to clean the coats well they look worse after i pick them up . I understand that they want to use and give the opportunity to young people, but these young people who work there do not know how to wash their own clothes, it is to be expected the poor quality of the service in your clothes. Actually the Asian dry cleaner charge a little more for the service, but I prefer to pay more, since Zips damaged a lot of my clothes, and they never reimbursed me the cost of my clothes. The twins ( young girls ) who work in the zips of Bristol have the worst attitude, when I asks for an explanation why my clothes are ruined and its their fault. In one occasion I was missing a piece and they said that I was wrong, three days later I remember exactly what that piece was (a very expensive white coat). I went to claim my coat and they gave it to me without any apology! People you better count your clothes before you drop them off... you never know ZIPS NEVER AGAIN! It is the worst place. The owner is about money not quality services. .
We have been customers of Zips for years. A friend of ours husband passed from Covid. She needed her clothes pressed for the funeral. She came 8 minutes passed 9 ( mind you, roads are icy due to snow and in her grief, things have been very hard for her and her children) and just asked if by a small request, she could have them by 5 ( in by 9, out by 5 as advertised). They refused to honor it because she was 8 minutes late. Now we know you follow the 9 am protocol, but was it really that hard to have empathy and be kind to a woman who is grieving and needed help for her lost loved ones funeral? 8 minutes..really? This was shameful. You lost my business. And many others since they are a very profound family who many love and word has gotten out about the shameful treatment of her.
Was not happy with my experience with Zips at all. I work every day in dress blues with the Military Funeral Honors. I Dropped my ASU Pants/Military pants there to get cleaned not pressed because I have to press them myself for work. When I picked them up the gold stripe was faded and had blue color from the pants in it. When I informed the manager of it, she said they would be able to fully restore them but they did not. Now I have to come out of my own pocket to pay $109 for new slacks since these are wrecked. But thanks for my refund of $2.50, I will not be going back for obvious reasons. Below is a picture of how they should look like and how zips wrecked mine.
It is a very professional upbeat place. They do a great job and, and have an unbeatable price of $229 per garment. Your clothing will always be ready on time.If you give it in before 9 it will be ready at 5 that day, and if you bring it after 9 it will be ready by 5 the next day. it is a perfect system. You do have to prepay, and they now accept credit cards. There is a $10 minimum on the card, but you can apply any balance to your account for next time. The place is clean, and the staff is very friendly and professional. You are in and out in 2-3 minutes feeling better about your day. The owner Guy Naftoli is a really friendly, and you can find him actually working in the store sometimes.
My first dry cleaning experience with zips was yesterday with pick up today. The people were nice I was excited to get my items back and hoping this would be my new go to for dry cleaning items. It’s local, fast and cheap. Well I got what I paid for. I dropped off 4 coats. Two pea coats and two other style coats. My items were returned to me in two seperate bags everything seemed fine I was happy when I left. I got home and opened my items to find one bag with my coats nicely hung, zippered and buttoned closed and great. My other one had one coat zippered nicely with my other coat, my Guess brand pea coat, not only not closed but with three of my button pieces missing. The buttons are silver with a big black resin piece in the center with the name Guess engraved. Yeah, well now I have a few big silver pieces of plastic with no black piece in the center. My coat looks stupid, I can’t believe it came back without my pieces AND hung up as of they knew it got messed up and didn’t want to even close it up for me. I’m so pissed. And to call back and be told it’s not their responsibility is not sitting well with me. Gave the two stars because my other coats seem to be okay for now... keyword for now. Zips you should fix your customers things that break because now I’m screwed.
The prices are good however I walked in their today rushing this morning and I left my mask in the car. I was not too thrilled as to the way she told me I needed a mask. It was very aggressive, and with so much going on these days it makes me wonder had I been someone of the opposite persuasion would she had talked to me in that manner.
Sign states “ In by 9 our by 5”. Arrived at 8am to be told they won’t have it ready until the next day at 4. Like hello people your sign literally on the window behind me says it will be done the same day, not “In by 9 out by 5 except for Tuesday’s”. Place is a joke. Not to mention the countless times the give you the wrong clothes.Edit** Just so we are clear. This was not from a machine malfunction error. I was told point blank that they do not process clothing on ANY TUESDAY.
You do not want to use this dry cleaners anymore. We have been going here since they opened. Never had a problem until recently. We took a comforter to get dry cleaned and we have taken this one in the past. The comforter was blue and white and when we got it back, there was a red stain on the white part, almost like it was cleaned with a red article of clothing. I took the product back and they kindly re-cleaned it, free of charge. The stain only got lighter and we went back and forth with this for about 6 more times. The stain never came out. So the owner gave me a call today, and told me there is nothing he can do and to pick it up. I said that is fine, but it was never brought in this way. He said, yes it was, youre a liar, and dont bring it back. (9/15/2017 was the conversation) That is 100% unacceptable, you take something in and they ruin it, and the worse part, accuse you of bringing it in with the stain. I got a lot better things to do with my time than to falsely accuse someone. So my advice, avoid this place...they had one job, and messed that up!
This pkace us the BEST. I tell EVERYONE to go there. #1: prices are same for all garments in all their stores. Most cleaners charge $8-$12 for a coatZIPSZ CHARGES $2 for a coat, like every thing else. Place is clean, not boiling hot in summer like some cleaners. Therefore the workers are comfortable. Well organized. Staff always helpful, kind, polite. Never wait in long line. Try it !!!!
I took 5 pairs of scrub pants to get hemmed last week, and my receipt showed that they would not be ready by my next shift at work. So I called to see if they could have just one pair of pants finished early, and they agreed that they could have one pair ready early for me. To my surprise, when I went to pick the pair up, all 5 pairs were already finished! They totally exceeded my expectations, and the pants look great.
Very unprofessional staff. After I dropped my clothes off and exited I heard someone say you should just go to the laundry mat. I come back all my white clothes has stains on them and my blue shirt has a stain and is split on the collar. I thought you put clothes in the cleaners to get them pressed. Not to mention I took a new pair of black jeans there and they came back so faded they was grey. Had buttons missing off of shirts. They bad business! I think they are racist but as I read the prior reviews they must not be good at what they are in business to do.
Just started a new position at work so I need to look good . Third trip to this location yesterday .Today half awake I got dressed thinking I look good . Got to work and my shirt is covered in fibers , lint , hairs etc etc. I could of done this myself at home in my washing machine . how could someone give this to a customer who paid to have it cleaned .guess it’s time to find a new cleaner good riddens zips I’ll be sure to pass the word as I drive past this location every day. Sometimes convenience doesn’t pay
Beware very unprofessional and this is the perfect place to go if youd like your clothes cut up.. My mother put in a blouse for cleaning and they CUT THE SLEEVES then blamed her for it! They cut the sleeves and accused my mother of cutting her own sleeves off. Believe that? Also, my brothers shirt had several buttons torn off. No more. We are reporting these people. Think twice before using these dry cleaners!!!
I just picked up our garments. There was a small bag attached to my husbands jeans: $50 ....my husband forgot to remove it prior to cleaning........as the saying goes: I was taken to the cleaners - however, the cleaner checked the pockets prior to cleaning and made sure it was returned to him. The honest workers in this cleaning establishment are an asset to ZIPS.
You get what you pay for...they do an ok job but the manager/owner can use some lessons on problem solving.I was overcharged on my debit card by $150.00...this right before Christmas. The owner claimed he called the bank and had the charge cancelled. Well, here we are a week later and that was a huge story. The payment processed and Im still waiting on my $150.00. Each time I call, hes conveniently not on site. Currently waiting for corporate to call back. The owner is a joke and should have him franchise taken. He gives all Zips a bad name.
I’ve been to this zips location at least a couple of times before and on occasion I had to take back a garment that wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. On this day I took in 8 winter clothes items, one which included the dress with the synthetic leather trim. Upon pick up I noticed the dress was ruined and pointed it out to the girl behind the counter(She said she was one of the managers). I saw her go talk to the owner and came back and said they followed the care instructions. I couldn’t stay right that moment to further discuss the issue and said I would return. I returned about an hour later and spoke to to another manager which said the same thing (not as nicely) that they followed care instructions and it wasn’t their responsibility if the garment was damaged. I said: I understand that you followed the dry clean instructions but so did I because I brought in to get dry cleaned. And if it wasn’t something that you can do because I’ve had other dry cleaners in the past refused to take an item, then the person doing the intake should have said that. Consequently, the person who cleaned the actual garment should have taken note of the material and not cleaned it. I’ve had this dress dried cleaned before without any issues. And I need a refund for my order because my item was ruined. A service was provided, and it was Inadequate and I need a refund for my entire order. She said they couldn’t because they followed the care instructions and it’s not their fault if the item became ruined in the process and could have the item sent to a third party to have it analyzed. At this point the owner was called over. The owner who was not sympathetic to the situation just repeated the same thing. “We dried cleaned following care instructions and it’s not our responsibility for being damaged. That’s a manufacturers issue for not properly labeling the garment.” He again suggests the third party analysis and I say I need the third party’s information. The owner says I could mail in the garment or they could do it there. I said I would do it but still need a refund. At this point he scoffs and says “you want your 2 dollars back?” in a mocking tone. I said no I need the full refund because the service provided was not good. He said no because the other garments were fine. So I left. I called the third party analyzer ‘international textile analysis laboratory (DLI)’ and explained the situation. They clarified that an individual consumer is NOT able to send in a garment the dry cleaner has to do it only if they have a membership, and if not it can be done through the Better Business Bureau. I don’t know if the owner is not fully aware of how the analysis works or if he just told me I could send it in myself to get rid of me. I’ve worked customer service before and I’m not of the idea the customer is always right and I wasn’t looking for a freebie. However, in this case that my garment was damaged while in their possession and NO APOLOGY, NO SYMPATHY, NO WHAT CAN WE DO TO MAKE THE SITUATION IS BETTER AS WE VALUE YOU AS A CUSTOMER. Just denial of their part in damaging the garment but placing the blame on the manufacture for not labeling the garment correctly. The owner said it’s not the responsibility of the intake employee to analyze each garment and their care. Needless to say I will never be returning to this zips dry cleaner and I recommend that you don’t either. Save your garments and go to a true professional dry cleaners that knows how to properly care for different materials.
I dropped off my mattress cover on a Tuesday and paid them. They said theyd have it done by Friday at 5, but that wed get a confirmation email once it was done. My wife went to pick it up Friday around 5 because we never got an email, and they couldnt find it. My wife spotted it in a bin off to the side. They told her that they probably werent able to clean it due to the instructions on the tag, which did say spot clean only (not sure why they couldnt have called to tell me that, also not sure why they didnt know where my cover was or why it hadnt been cleaned). They told her my card would be refunded. A week later, I still didnt have my refund so I called them. The manager wasnt around, but the girl told me shed leave a message for him to call me the next business day. That was 2 weeks ago.
My first responders uniform was stripped of all the buttons and they gave it back to me like they found all the buttons on my pocket, like it was my fault. Im never going back there again, its not the first time they damaged my clothing and stuck a damaged before dropped off tag. And they constantly put a crease in the patch, no matter how many times you tell them.
Do yourself a favor and avoid.... came to pick up two Catholic school skirts for my daughters after being told theyd be hemmed and dry cleaned by a certain day ($34 charged up front). Turns out, when we showed up to pick them up, we were told the ticket doesnt matter for when theyre to be picked up. So they werent done, took them 45 mins to find them, and the hem which cost $30 was horrible! Ill never be returning. No compensation offered except the $4 for the dry clean which hadnt been done. Now my kids are heading to school tomorrow with horrible looking skirts. Pay the extra little bit and go somewhere that someone actually cares.
I will not be returning to any ZIPS Dry Cleaners. I went to the Bensalem location FOUR times for ONE shirt. There were no stains on the shirt when I took it there, but then there were stains on the shirt each time after that. They did three re-dos of the shirt, the last one by the owner himself. I tried to resolve the situation by meeting in the middle because the stain put there after the shirt was under ZIPS care was not removed. The owner said he could not get the stain out. The store employees had marked the shirt two separate times with chalk in order to show where the problems were. The store documented most of the stains, but probably not all. I told the owner that I would post online and to give me my shirt back so that I could leave and he continued to argue that I must have gotten food on the shirt beforehand. There were no stains on the shirt beforehand. I am extremely dissatisfied. Not only do I have a stain on an interview shirt, but I tried to resolve the situation by offering to use coupons and to drive to get a new shirt vs. pay shipping to reduce the cost.... It would have been about 50 dollars then... The owner wanted to send the shirt to get analyzed to see if it was food. I dont care what the stain was caused by, just get it out if it happened at your establishment! No move to meet me at half of even the cost after coupons. No acknowledgment that his establishment put stains in (most of them taken out after another redo). No acknowledgment of the time and energy in order to try to fix this. This guy really just didnt want to help. He said he would lose about 50 dollars anyway to get it analyzed with a $44 fee. Why not just offer to pay that cost towards the shirt instead? I had brought other garments that were fine, why not fix what happened in your store? That would sound reasonable to me, especially after FOUR tries on the same shirt and from 7/31/15 to 8/6/15. I told them I had vacation coming up and also a colliding interview. No help. Just telling me that I had food on the shirt that I wore to an interview without eating breakfast beforehand and also taking off right after the interview (I wear a tank top underneath) when I get back to the car and put into a garment bag. Both of my parents saw the shirt and the last stain in question was not there even when I brought it home from the cleaners the first time. After that, I made sure to check it IN THE STORE instead of taking it home. I made every effort to take any responsibility I could, but a business needs to fix their end of the stick.
I have a down comforter that has been through it all with my three and one year old. Every sick night throwing up all over it, potty training with each of my childrens many accidents, and countless spills from sippy cups bottles and any and everything they get their hands on. As long as they listen and pretreat the stains first my comforter comes back looking great and almost brand new. The price is the best around and am always happy for the first few days of getting it back just to go back to square one.
This business is awful, the manager is a scammer. I gave them 2 pairs of pants and they gave my pants to a different costumer. Then ship me back only 1 when they knew I was on a overseas trip. Then they try to tell me that they gave me both... Avoid this business if you want a peace of mind. Dont want to take responsibility for a mistake.
Every dry cleaner should know that you dont crease a pair of chinos by default. Im just upset that i didnt check my clothes sooner. They creased three pair of chinos that i took in for cleaning. The creases almost impossible to remove now - RUINED. Other than that major loss, their work is fair to good.
I have been going to this Zips location since they opened, the service has been on the decline for the past year. The request for pretreatment of collar and cuffs seems to be ignored, Ive had collar stays melted several times (my fault should have removed them but thats their business so they should check) the final straw was Michael Kors coat that was brought in for cleaning when returned the zipper did not work, I wore it the day before they cleaned it and the zipper worked fine the owners solution was repIace it for $ 25.00 I explained that if the zipper was broken I would have asked to have it repaired and that it seems as though it snagged on something and was pulled he explained it was from wear so I paid and left feeling they really did damage the zipper. The best part Zips calls to inform me they cannot do the repair, took the coat to a tailor to be repaired, this was the last time for Zips.
DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME GOING HERE!! You get exactly what you pay for.... it’s cheap and rushed I don’t even think they clean your stuff just iron it!! I brung a couple shirts here and when I returned to pick them up one had holes in it and the owner is a rude guy who doesn’t fix anything!!!
I went to have a pair of pants hemmed. Despite the previously posted hours till 7pm for the seamstress on thursdays and sat 9-1, i was told the seamstress doesnt have any evening or weekend hours any longer.....what? I asked if they were getting a new seamstress and was told No. Why? And i said how in the world will people be able to get things hemmed or fixed when people work and the girl said, I dont know, lol this is a joke right? They are literrally making it impossible for the people they count on for business to conduct business.
Well this place is a prime example of you get what you pay for.. its cheap and quick but it will ultimately cost you bc they will ruin your clothes. Customer service is piss poor and they take no responsibility for mistakes they make. Id only use this place as a last resort..
Very poor service, money up front, no credit card, also with big dollar amount, worker are nice, the manager very nasty person, they rip my shirt & refuse to take any responsibility, some off my shirts didnt made a good job cleaning, they told my they will go over it again, wheat they didnt do, I ask them to give me my money back only on the shirts they didnt clean good, the manager told me no one going to see money back from us, this why we dont take credit card & the money is up front, dont go there, save time & aggravation, they take off from Facebook any complaint they dont like people to view

2022-06-19This place is so inconsistent, sometime they are good. A few times they got my favorite shirts damage with the chemical they use. My 2 white, 1 pink and 1 red polo shirts are all chemically stained from them. Chemical spots all over the shirts. They had no problem redoing it but the stain is still there. They act like its not a big deal. I love those shirts. I just choose to not go there again.

2022-05-01So i dont think they actually clean the clothes fully. They may just iron the dirty clothes and spray it down. I had a stain on my dress pants that could be removed easily by soap or water. I found the stain was still there when i picked it up and ended up wiping the stain with a tissue and it came off easily. This made me think that they may not actually clean the clothes. They just iron and spray the clothes.

2022-05-24They use to be a reputable dry cleaners. Now your lucky if you get your garments back in 48 hours even though their sign still states same day service. Also they have lost several garments over my past two trips.

2022-06-27FIX YOUR HOURS ONLINE! I watched myself and 4 other people pull up because it lists you opening at 7am only to find temporary hours on the door. Nothing like a wasted morning and another trip needed back.

2022-01-31Highly dissatisfied with their service. Brought suit in for cleaning and they destroyed all of the buttons on the jacket and pants. They told this happens all the time. They refused to reimburse me but they did replace all of the buttons. Would not recommend!!

2022-02-01This is the 3rd time Ive brought an item into this location and they have ruined my clothing. The previous 2 times they have replaced my items but this time they were disrespectful and told me that I could put my sweater in the trash or they could trash it. I will never do business with zips again.

2022-02-01Worst dry cleaner ever I’d rather pay more money with a local small drycleaner then to spend money here and have my clothes ruined almost every time. In addition to them ruining my clothes their customer service is horrible and they are very disrespectful.
